I just finished installing my new Lexx Slip on Exhaust on my 2014 KLR 650. Thanks for your instructional video. The only hang up I had was with the bolt on the last hanger clamp. The supplied 8mm X 40mm bolt was 3/8 inch short after putting it through the 20mm clamp spacer, which wouldn't reach the bolt on the back side. I ended up going to the hardware store and buying a (metric) bolt a half inch longer, which solved the problem. Other than that...everything went smooth, and the whole install (minus the trip to the store) took 30 minutes. PS... I noticed your "arches" plate...KLR brother in Utah.
Did you ever get an answer to this question elsewhere? I wanna get these but don't want to rejet. I've done the .22cent mod which should be good enough. lemme know?
@@jasonspears1181hey Jason I’m running into this now 155 main jet is likely ideal if your air box is modded. If not your safe with a 152.5 main jet ( stock is 145) while your in there I would change out the stock pilot jet from 140 to a 142

I am Glad you liked it. I just barely got that bolt on the 8mm x 40mm. I think I need to do what you did and go get a longer one. Thanks
have the same problem, whats up with that...:-(
I just did this install on my 2015 and didn't use the stock clamp, used the silicone gasket maker instead. Nice job on everything else.
Thanks for the information!!
great vid. check out dg's exhaust. it has the brackets built in. installation is a breeze. procycle has em
How long do they last?
The sound difference is amazing! It sounds like it revs much faster. Did you notice any performance difference?
It probably adds a couple horse power, especially when coupled with a jet kit
4:30............"right meow?"
+animalmother556x45 lol
So nothing was done to the carb or air box???
Nope
Both my lexx springs broke, what should i get to replace them??
Was the mid pipe a snug fit? The one I ordered arrived and I don’t think it’s the right mid pipe
Did you ever figure that out? I just went to put one on today and the mid pipe to header is far from snug.
Same here, supplied mid pipe is approx 2", old pipe is approx 1 3/4"!!
ordered one for my 2012 klr.. mid pipe was wayyyy to big.
Mine started to melt the plastic by the tip
Did you do anything to the carburetor? some people say you have to get the eagle Mike carburetor kit.. .. I have the same exhaust I was just wondering

Same question how do you like it any power increase?
After install I felt more power
