It's funny how some people are sooo afraid to live alone, to spend their lives alone. This young man is an example of the beauty of living alone. You do what you want, when you want and no one will complain. I love it!
I feels it's truly his "house". because it's appeal really good for him but for me and for some others for sure, the concept is dull. so much space to get creative with the walls, the floor, the lighting, but it's just plain and simple. there's so much more that can be done to make it more interesting. just a large square room with plain floor and plain furniture is kinda dull. a few ideas: -raise up the bed floor to differentiate sleeping area and living room area, ~10-20cm height, and use different flooring material than the living room one. use strip led light under the step to the bedroom -use pattern wallpaper/wood on the tv side of the living room to differentiate it from the bedroom walls. -use some strip led light behind the tv and behind the tv table (under it is okay too) -use big carpet for the living room -change the bed to the bottom's side of the floor plan to give light way through the back -the toilet need to be enlarged, because human sanctuary is their home toilet. (that feeling when you go out of town and miss your home toilet? that's why it's a sanctuary) the toilet can be more spacious, with modern looking style.(btw the gothic style arch in the toilet I see amongus lol) -distinguished the bedroom table and living room table. make it more like work table/laptop table rather than tv table or you can give separator too. -make use of the view at the big window, place bookcase or mini fridge on the table and better relaxing chair at the other end of the beds. to relax before bed. -since he lives alone, don't need 3 seat sofa, just 2 seat sofa is enough(and the tv size does not match the profile of 3 seat sofa, a bigger tv would match it perfectly) I'm sorry if I ramble too much, I don't think this episode is on the level of other design seeds video, no offense to the guy, he did a good job for his own space and kudos for that! I'm not professional but rn I'm learning interior design on my own and want to become a good 1 someday, it's my passion, I'm sorry if I offend anyone and speaks inappropriate, it is not in my intention to do that. it's just so many ideas sparks in my mind about this space and I want to let it out! :>

Everyone has different taste and preferences. The owner said he likes dark. Maybe his workplace is too bright and he wants to come home to a dark, peaceful place. Don't judge others
It’s cause everything was basically custom built and designed for the space . If you get a company to do it it’s a lot more expensive than if you did it yourself.
Love the channel and all the videos and places but drop that silly ft measurement you are ussing only for the videos, it is well known that all over the world we use meters, only those fool from the states use feet
