Make the Quran your priority as well as the sunnah and you will notice the big impact on your learning within the days

Should I share with you channels you can learn Arabic from? One is in English and the others are 100% in Arabic. By the time you finish the English one you won’t have trouble learning the rest in Arabic.

what was the ayah that Shaykh was talking about in the beginning when he said "And from the benefits of this ayah is the indication that all of mankind must speak with the Arabic language,"

20:113 thus have We revealed this as an Arabic Qur'an and have expounded in it warning in diverse ways so that they may avoid evil or become heedful.
It might be this one might not be as there are a few verses highlighting the Arabic language. Though I have also heard an opinion that Allah SWT mentioning the Arabic language was a mercy from him of delivering the message to the audience (Arabs) in their tounge .

Which ayat is Shaykh referring to? He mentioned about an ayat in the beginning of his speech.
Truly, i have always been saying this; our biggest tragedy since the downfall of our last Uthmaniyah khilafah, is the removal of arabic language from our living sphere. We were taught to read the Qur'an but never taught the arabic language simultaneously. How then would we learn and understand the message in the Qur'an?!
Those were restricted to anyone who goes to islamic private schools, which weren't readily available at my time during my growing years. And these students will only be limited to becoming islamic teachers, daie or scholars, no other universities or colleges will accept them if they want to pursue worldly sciences like doctors, engineers etc. What a contrast with our predecessors!😢
Even to this date, the language is not made compulsory. I have invested in my children to learn the language through pvt tutors and i myself also have started a year ago. It's challenging bcoz not many are pursuing this and if we dont have ppl to practice our speech with, we will sturggle to learn the labguage....
My older children are beginning to forget as they dont practice the language, no one to talk with. We live in non-arabic speaking region...
