Please make dua for me, I am in a stressful situation. I live in the West and want to study a degree (child nursing). I'm in a situation where I have to find work to pay for my university - my family dont want to pay for me. Please make dua for me that I find a solution. Barakallahu feek
This is such a genuine and practical peace of advice. There are so many men who refrain from providing for their families and some can't because of illness. Its bes for women to stay at their homes but life is not the same for everyone. I hope those people who judge women for stepping out, even for just and genuine purposes get to reflect upon this.
It seems like the blessed 'alama (may Allah have mercy on him) answered the question only partially. He mentioned women as going out to teach Islam to other women. What about other jobs?
Where did they say women shouldn't work? Maybe you misunderstood when they mention if the women are married and have families. Obviously if a woman has a husband and children then her duty is to her family.
I'm gonna stay at home insha'Allah ; it's the _best_ work for women. May Allah make it easy for us
