    Yeah miss my Sayoc days with Guro Bob Shin, if you get a chance to take this it's worth it.

    Not wrong but what isn't being said is that the common 5 for 1 movement isn't for actual real combat it is training, and you are educating the body to reactions. Of course, you can't do a dozen things while they hold their arm out there, but that isn't what the training is for. Concepts, reaction, timing, flow and many more reasons for the unrealistic 5 to 1, yet that part is never talked about by those that insist what they are doing is right and whatever else is being done is wrong. 1 for 1 is also great training but so is 5 for 1. Just for different reasons.

    We trained to respond initially one for one then one and a half to one then two to one then 2 1/2 to one then three to one then 3 1/2 to one then four to one then 4 1/2 to one and then 5 to one five to one is never expected to be achieved in combat. We’re happy to get two to one train five to one.
