    Honestly my favorite range. I do largo too, but since I'm into unarmed combat more than FMA, the corto really helps with sharpening those reflexes.

    And at very close range sometimes you need to be willing to release your weapon and attack empty handed if the situation requires it.

    The moves reminds me of the late SGM tatang Illustresimo and GM Yuli Romo. One of there master piece is a close range. For sure GM Oliver knowns them. Great!

      @@dockilat5576 So, that's why I see a subtle "body waving" and footwork similar to GM Yuli. But he was wrong when he said there is no counter to his move. Of course, there is always a counter (and counter to counter) especially if your opponent is mobile and not "just a "punching bag" and equally skilled.

      Those movements are launching from Serrada-Abbierta openings.
      Not the ground zero kind either.

      we carry blades for people that think filipinos only use sticks 🤣🤣. and he trains with guns too, you'll see his other video while he trains people, he's got a gun in his holster while teaching....

      @@mohdsyakirin09 filipino martial arts use stick to train and for peacetime. while we use blade for real combat. we know that 1 art is not enough, so we mix it with empty hands arts like boxing/kickboxing/bjj...it dependso n the person

      Or be prepared to take his eye out. Personally I chose to get my ego in check. I know my brother has walked away or ran away from people he didn't know he hadn't killed. I'm the soft one who lets the side down in my family but guess what I've never been to jail or had to look in the papers the next day to see if someone died. Being the soft one made me mean seeing I'm the soft one made me strong. I'm a great lover not a fighter and I'm strong with that now. I'm 42 and it took years
