That was fun to learn. I want to show what I did. I took an image of a coffee shop, added an animated steam coming off the coffee pot. Then I have a cloud that floats away, the sun comes up (background change) and then a car drives up to the shop. SO FUN!!

awesome, have a background in motion graphics and my boss just asked if I knew how to do fancy stuff with photos in powerpoint. you helped me figure out where the main tools are, and thankfully they look and operate similarly enough!

SVG files.. A totally new information for me being a Non-itian. An interesting thing to know. In my next presentation going to use ot to make my content more happening and eye catchy for my students.

Truly wonderful presentation. I have been trying to follow your tutorial. One problem I have encountered is that though I have downloaded SVG files, I could not ungroup the image as you've shown. I am using office 2016. Is there a way that I can edit those images as you have shown in the video?

Hi - are you looking to ungroup the image? To use SVG files, you do need PowerPoint on Office 365. For any earlier version you would need to download the SVG file and convert it using any online converter to WMF file. Then you would be able to ungroup the image in PowerPoint.

Which PowerPoint version are you using?
I think 2019 or later... because earlier versions don't support SVG at all..
You need to direct people where the svg file can be found.
Otherwise it was a good idea

Yes this can be very time consuming to do in PowerPoint if you wish to make long videos. To reduce time you can copy Animations with Animations Painter, if you have a lot of similar animations.
Not able to use group feature
Nice tutorial. But I am unable to insert the svg file in PowerPoint. I have seen some of the comments where you have told to convert that svg file to wmf using any online converter. I did it but it didn't worked! I'm using ms powerpoint 2010...is there any other way of inserting svg file???
