Thank you very much, this is my first time watching a video on male measurement. And I will say you are one great of a teacher. I would love to be your student
Great video but like most men’s measurements videos this doesn’t include a detailed explanation regarding how to get the “natural waistline”… Simply have the person stand up straight looking forward with arms down to the side. Have them lean over slightly to the right and hold that position. You should see an indentation on the right side of their body in their midsection region (above belt line). Mark the point where the indentation appears. That is their “Natural Waistline”. Now measure completely around the body, perpendicular to that point and you will have their waist measurement.
We love contributions...This is very good, but I would also love to say that as a professional/commercial tailor, you can actually feel the indentation on the person's waist region without the whole process whereby the individual leaning towards the right...Your process is very correct and ideal which makes me call it the textbook method but sometimes in reality, it actually varies to what most good/professional tailors are doing out there... Yet they make great trousers/pant with same results...These Modifications are mostly done to save time... I really appreciate your contribution, keep it up dear... Thank you...
Hello Jasper, it seems you don't mark the knee when cutting a trouser... I will advise you to watch a trouser cutting video to see how we input the knee measurement
By the way I have a question the crotch length is 9.5 while the crotch circumference is 23 inches. The extra 3.5 inches is the usually the extension that you add when you curve it ?
