The price point in insane . 16 pound, thats why most caribbean restaurants dont survive , that should be no more then a tenner

I'm glad you tried West Indian food - it's out of this world but I would say that as I was brought up on the stuff so maybe I'm being it a tad bit biased lol.
The best Jamaican food I’ve eaten was from a small place near Selhurst Park in London, when I got lost coming out of a Crystal Palace game. I dunno what it was called or if it still exists but it was amazing!

Just had a fullmonty Jamaican box at newcastle quayside rice abd peas jloff rice curry goat jerk chicken plantain and salad nice on a Sunday theres a food market loads of choice

Had Jamaican food last year. My wife was quite apprehensive as never had Jamaican food before, but my god she was shocked how delicious it was.

There is a range of Jamaican ready meals produced by the brand 'The Black Farmer'. They do mutton curry and jerk chicken etc. Halal of course... well worth trying....
