Thank you for the great tutorial. People would not understand how much time, frustration and unfortunately waste goes into the discovery of such useful tips for signmakers. That is why it is so awesome and IMPORTANT to share this kind of stuff. thanks again.
Here's a tip to improve your sign shop.....and for anyone else that reads this. NEVER put black drop shadows behind dark color text. Some designers at shops do it ALL the time. It doesn't help the customer and it boggles the mind why sign people who's purpose is to make good attention getting images for their customers, don't realize they are giving the customer something that is the opposite. The colors you don't use with black drop shadows that touch - Red, Blue, Dark Grey, Black, Darker Greens, and you can figure out the rest. When you add shadows to those colors, the lettering becomes blurred, clogged looking and unclear from a matter of 10 or more feet away. No charge for the tip.......
That's because anyone can do or go into any profession. I'm a traditional signwriter, you are right, the other thing I keep seeing is signs with script in capitals. All wannabes in my opinion.
thankyou Charli great idea can i use methylated spirits to clean the corflute surface prior to application? cos mine is going to be outdoors i just got my sign your youtube is awesome and i like how you done yours mine isn't as big but the corflute is slightly shorter on the edge and the sign has .com the m falls out of the border so i am going to try i wish you could show me how to do mine but thanks for demonstrating
@andoy1504 You don't use transfer tape with this method on printed vinyl. I do still use transfer tape on cut vinyl and remove it the regular way after sticking it.
You can wet mount on coro pretty easily too and a bit faster than that once you are practiced, but I really like that method. Unfortunately I don't have the big squeegee.
The purpose of this video originally was to send to a friend of mine because I had a Big Squeegee shipped to him and I just wanted to show him how I use it. OH and by the way, it IS a lot faster when I'm not taking the time to video and talk about it. Thanks.
I'm kinda new to this but all the people talking poo about this?...I don't understand. This looked quicker and cleaner then other ways I've been researching. Thanks for a great video! Is that printed vinyl or vinyl on vinyl? If printed, was it though an inkjet style printer with regular ink? Thanks again! :)
Big Squeegee..............BIG DUD!!!!!, That could have been done much quicker, and whoever made that sign, needs some design skills......That's it......

Perfeito, mas infelizmente aqui no Brasil ainda não chego essa bela tecnologia!!!
