Don’t take the shock absorber out, add even more. As your heel goes up your toes go back. More height in the heel will give you more room in the toe box.
Overly raising your heal can put your ankle over the channel locks and heel cup that keeps your foot locked down, creating unwanted heel lift and an unnatural stance.. if u have no other choice then yeah I get it but I personally wouldn't go that route

The fact that it was a Squirt and not something like a Signal, Raptor, MUT that you would have used in your time as PJ was a surprise... but, I'm glad you have a Squirt. That one doesn't get nearly enough love among the enlisted. I opened a LOT of CR123's from the PX with one of those little guys. When you commented back with "I have the perfect tool" I thought you were going to whip out something ridiculous like a mall sword, or a Ka-Bar as a joke.
If you go back to the epic shoe unboxing…you’ll see a different blade than this one. Believe it or not, I was issued this squirt and used this more than pretty much any other tool/knife I was ever issued.
My feet are also 275mm. I now have seba cj 2020 boots in a size 43 but gonna buy the prime version in 42 next weekend. I already fited them and was afraid that they were a tiny bit to small. But like you also said, the liner gets thinner after a couple of sessions.

The soul plate is used on the gawds and usd vii and the vii has holes for the mounting points but the gawds or these just use the ufs bolts but the mold has the holes
Oh, man, they certainly are beautiful skates. Would love to get my hands on a pair. Been riding the Gawds, for a couple of years, and I absolutely love that soul plate.
Gosh that Fakie 7 was so clean 🧼 I hope you figure out a way to make those fit properly. They definitely look too small but you might be able to finesse them. Can’t wait to see more clips :)

I didn’t think I was ever going to do one again but I can spin so much better with the Aeons... Now I’m pretty confident I can do one. Next time I go to Possum Creek I’m gonna pretty much spent the whole session ramping up to it and attempting it
The lil foam inserts keep the soul plates from banging around during shipment and presentation. You should try those with the Kizer fluid 4s. The groves line up perfectly with the soul cause Kizer/Iqon = Powerslide...Try to put a flat insole like SuperFeet hockey comfort and take that USD anti shock insole out, you already have anti shock on the bottom of the liner. You don't need both and heel lock can't be achieved if you keep going up the liner. Great looking skates!
I like my skates a size larger and my foot sits in the middle of the skate, same with shoes, I cant stand my feet being smooshed in shoes or skates, When I can spread my toes I can balance better and skate better.
Why don't they offer frames though? All that effort to make "the best" boots and they just lost interest at making frames to give us the ultimate cop out of "oh you customise them with the setup you want", I mean the boot seems excellent but lack of frames at that price seems kinda wack

I can get a less bendy soulplate on skates that are 100$. I just epoxy underneath the soulplate
