    Just bought this pack from you guys. It’s awesome and even more impressive in person. I have to say, the video is a great help, as I’m always afraid to buy a bag online. I travel extensively and this is exactly what I was looking for. I look forward to using it! Thanks again!

    I washed mine ounce! And parts of the costing discolored I can’t stand looking at it anymore now it’s sitting in my closet as storage for gear I don’t use much. I’ll stick to regular bags for a bit these coatings aren’t that great yet.

    Hi there! I’m looking at outfitting our family of 6 for adventures and really liking the versatility this Transporter offers. One thing no reviews or pics have answered yet is whether the side hauler handles would fit on the handle of rolling luggage/dolly?? Not all of our kiddos are old enough to carry their own packs so we would need to double up or use a luggage dolly in some situations. Thanks for touring this bag!

    • @Enwild
      @Enwild  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks for your question. We also received your email, so expect that response soon! :) It's hard to say definitively whether the haul handles of the transporter will fit over the handle of rolling luggage because it depends on the size of the rolling luggage handle and how full the Transporter is packed. I tried every grab handle of the Transporter 40 on the Osprey Sojourn 45 wheeled luggage and it did not fit. The handle of the Sojourn is 6 1/2 inches across and the hauler handles of the Transporter are just shy of 6 1/2" across. Expect an email with a picture showing what I mean in the next few minutes. Long story short, if your travel luggage handle is 6 inches wide or less, your luggage should be able to caddy the transporter 40. Remember too: if the Transporter duffel is filled to the gills, the handle will have less slack to stretch over the handle of the rolling luggage. Good luck!

      Backcountry Edge okay thanks! That at least gives me some data to experiment with. Thank you for trying it out! I suppose we could always lash it down if we need to carry this way. That’s just less straightforward and more time consuming.

    For racing weekends travel... 2 pair of running shoes + small foam roller + 3 days clothing (summer or winter) + toiletries + towel + ultrarunning stuff (gels, food, anti chaffing + aid) 40L or 65L? thanks!

    • @Enwild
      @Enwild  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You can probably get away with the 40L, though it might be a challenge to pack winter clothing and two pairs of shoes. If you don't like playing packing Tetris, go with the 65L. Thanks for watching!

    • @Trompi_trumpee
      @Trompi_trumpee 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Update: I bought the 65 liters, totally worth it. I think 40 would have been pretty small. PS. No problem as a carry on bag as long as you don't fill it 110%.

    Do you think this would fit under a plain seat if I didn't pack it out to the seams? Looking for a durable bag I can sneak on as a personal item now that airlines are charging $40 for carry-on...

    • @Enwild
      @Enwild  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Larissa,
      The dimensions of the Transporter 40 are 20.9" x 12.2" x 10.6" If it isn't too full, you may be able to fit it under the seats, though it will depend on the plane and the airline. Here's a handy chart with the official requirements for most airlines: travel-made-simple.com/carry-on-size-chart/

      @@Enwild thank you for the dimensions, those are different than what other websites were showing - I've got a better idea now of how I could pack it. Thanks!

    Do you prefer this or the Trailkit?

    • @Enwild
      @Enwild  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks for your question. The Transporters are made of a more weather resistant material than the Trailkits. If you anticipate being out in the rain at all with your duffle, we'd recommend the Transporter. The Trailkit, on the other hand, has more pockets for organizing gear, or keeping gear separated. I like that the Trailkit has a designated pocket for boots on the side. I;d throw my dirty cloths in there to keep them separated form the clean stuff. If you'd prefer a simpler bag with just one large pocket for packing, the transporter might be the way to go.

    Is there any compression strap in main compartment?

    • @Enwild
      @Enwild  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes

  • @pedrovaron3262
    @pedrovaron3262 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    Does it fit in the underseat compartment in most of the planes ? Thanks!

    • @Enwild
      @Enwild  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey Pedro, sorry it's a little too big for that. 22 x 14 x 9 is what's recognized as the typical size for under seat, the Osprey is 21x 12 x 11. But the good news is many users have commented how great it fits in the overhead compartment.

    • @pedrovaron3262
      @pedrovaron3262 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Enwild Thanks. I just wanted to know if it fits underseat. I think that maybe if you don't fill it at 100% it may fit

      @Enwild  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      The Transporter 40 will work as a carry-on bag for most airlines, but it doesn't hurt to check!

  • @mandownunder3600

    How about carry on in a flight?

    • @Enwild
      @Enwild  ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks for asking! The dimensions of this pack (updated version) are 21.5" x 14" x 9". Carry-on requirements and restrictions vary by airline and flight. We would recommend checking with your specific airline before choosing a carry-on bag. Safe travels!

  • @chrissjoy
    @chrissjoy 6 ปีที่แล้ว +3

    Does this qualify as a carry-on?

    • @Enwild
      @Enwild  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      It depends on which airline, since many of them have different requirements. The Transporter 40 has dimensions of 20.9" x 12.2" x 10.6", which should work for most (but maybe not all) airlines. Here's a link to several airline size charts: travel-made-simple.com/carry-on-size-chart/

    Watched a couple of your videos in passing. Small suggestion: speed up your teleprompter and occasionally look down at the pack so it's not obvious you're reading info. That would give the me vibe that I'm listening to an expert opinion on the products you are reviewing (therefore increasing the likelihood that I'll take your advice). Thanks and great videos!

    • @Enwild
      @Enwild  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Stephen,
      While we do currently use a teleprompter, our gear specialists research and write all their own scripts. We're not commercial actors, and we hope you'll stick with us while we improve our presence and performance, with the knowledge that we'd prefer to keep our own style intact rather than sound like the rest of the internet.
      Cheers!

      Good sales is good sales - has nothing to do with creating your own style. Just trying to help you sound less robotic but if that's your intended style then go for it! I won't stick around though since feedback seems a little unwelcome. But hey, good luck!

    • @Enwild
      @Enwild  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      I appreciate the feedback, Stephen! Our team is constantly improving our presentation and refining our style. The Osprey Transporter video here was filmed over 7 months ago, so maybe you've even noticed a positive difference in the vids since then? I speak for all of our Gear Specialists when I say that I hope you'll stay tuned for our upcoming big improvements. Your comment is heard. Best regards and happy hiking :) -Becky

      How about you just take in the advice and decide for yourself whether it's worthwhile or not? Basically what you're saying is that if someone "sounds" like an expert you'll take their advice even if it's bad.
