California Coast - San Simeon SP to San Luis Obispo - Day 4 of 4

After leaving San Simeon we road along Moonstone Beach and on to breakfast at Cambria's Mimosa Steak & Seafood. As I said previous;y I really do enjoy these breakfast to chat with good company and enjoy the traditional egg breakfast with several cups of fresh coffee. Charging electronics is a plus too
Once we reached Cayucos Graham and I parted ways. I continued along a path I had ridden several time before. I always ride Turri Rd when I'm riding to/from SLO.
On the other hand for some reason I don't enjoy Los Osos Valley Rd. One because of the high traffic but also I think it's because I know I'm near the end of the trip and at this point it's usually just getting to the train since the best part of the trip is behind me or i just need to get through this area to strart my trip.
I think I arrived in SLO around 1pm so I stopped at a very empty Maldonado's Mexican restaurant for a very good burrito.
After lunch it was off to Amtrak for my 4pm train back to BUR

Nicely done Joe! Yes it was a fog fest, yes there was weekend traffic but I enjoyed the ride and your company. We'll have to do something similar again. 🌞 (without fog)

During covid we did a few road trips up to Morro bay and moonstone beach. Just a beautiful road trip if nothing else. But we did get some moonstone.
