    • @ldnwholesale8552
      @ldnwholesale8552 3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      As an Aussie I know all their faults! Terrible oiling, poor cooling, triple groove valves and they weigh way too much!
      4Vs? Make good door stops or maybe anchors. WAY too big
      I have been running one in a road race car, with 302 2V heads. Far more driveable and you do not run over the crank using max 6800. 4Vs need to be turned to 8000+ to be worth using. And they blow up over 7000!
      As Dean is proving with 20 mile engines being used hard!
      I have built a 3.4" stroke Windsor with CHI 3V heads which will be very good and reliable. And will run to 7500

      Yeah, it was a very muscular design variant of the 71 Mustang, very wide and bulky. I love them too. They were scary fast, in fact they were forbidden in Australia after some dangerous street races were seen (the famous Supercar Scare). Ford was planning an even faster Phase IV version before the ban, so very few of them were built (four, actually).

    I never knew how strong and solid Cleveland engines were until I saw this video and how they developed the new high-tech Ford engine off the Cleveland block. Are used to have one in my grand Torino, and it never failed me as heavy as a car was it was fast.

    I own a 351 Cleveland. In a Montego. It is a Model 1970. It needs lots of work. I have had it for ten years, just sitting in my Garage. I haven't had time to work on it. Maybe someday.

    Love this content! Doesn't Stock eliminator allow solid roller cams?

      Thanks you Mike. Solid roller cam if the engine came with a roller lifter, hydraulic lifter engines can use any solid it non-roller lifter.

    Most people don't know but if you go back to the hot rod magazines of the muscle car era, the '71 Mustang Boss 351 held the factory Production line record for 1/4 mile right up until the more modern era of supercharged Mustang variants. It was quicker than the 428 Cobra Jet cars and the Boss 429.
