great build! I leaned more into the goading, attack others than me and "pillowforty" strategy, topped with strong go wide token generators. It's super fun and also quite flexible, i love it :)
My Isshin is well underway, and your vid (which I'd been very much looking forward to) just added a ton of cards to my decklist. I think I'm well over 100 without lands! I've got some serious cuts to make, just to try the deck out. Thanks for putting this together.
That's a great place to start - always nice to have a ton of options. And you should keep the ones you decide not to play at the ready as you start to play - I'm sure you'll see a ton of switches to keep trying!
I am thinking about building this commander. For go wide I would put marton stormgold in over ten but what a beast and with extra combat his ability will trigger 4 times
MMM deck tech? I'm here for it! Reminds me of the Yarok I built when I opened one but trading ETBs for attack triggers definitely changes the feel. Also I believe you have Edgar Markov so... samurai vampire tribal! 🤣
Hahaha can’t wait for the Innistrad / Kamigawa plane crossover event where they crash into each other. And because the mana from each plane blends together it creates the unique features of each into this post-apocalyptic battlefront!

I had a list made the day Isshin was spoiled. I don't know why, but when I saw Isshin's ability it made me excited to build a commander again. I've seen commanders lately that I thought would be cool but Isshin was just like YES! It's got to be my favorite deck I'm playing right now.
I'd like to put,... Robe of Stars 🌟 ( 1W: Phase Out ) Weathered Wayfarer (thin deck for "Land") Sparring Regimen (give atk crea. +1/+1 & Vig ) Basri Ket ( if you can get to alt, but his +1 is Nice too) Sword (Damn) the 1 that gains 3 life & return a Permanent to hand.
Hmm, any specific lines to go for? My friend is building a Demon Ninjas deck with him to help cheat in big bois - Satoru seems so flexible, so been thinking about how to go about it.
@@MountainManMagic i know that you use ninjutsu with unblockable creatures to hit with big cards but i dont know what cards to used to defend me ,sorry for my inglish :(
@@JuanHernandez-sk5md Aetherspouts. That said, I really don’t see ninjas being great if you use an obvious ninja as your commander. Theres some other versatile dimir commanders like oona who might be better as your face. Ninjas and ninjitsu always strike me as the element of surprise. It can still be a ninjas deck to cheat out the bigguns just include satoru in the 99. If you go this route make sure to include Vedalken Orrery so you have flash activated for your command zome seems very flavorful

Yess! Already build him, hybrid with multiple kamigawa cards and other stuff i had lying around. Have yet to try it out!
I have built him. My deck uses Myriad Mechanic and Kaalia of the Vast. A few phase out techs to keep my Myriad token!!!

Definitely excited for more samurai whenever they show up - maybe we start getting more sprinkled into the "master" type sets.
