Wow. Thank you for this song. Got diagnosed with Parkinson's disease at 44. Now 46. No paycheck since then. Sold everything not bolted down to get by. I never want people to see my worries and when it gets to tough I head out the door to the beautiful Appalachian woods here in Pa. Somehow I know everything will be ok then. Thanks again for this song. I truly feel it
God Bless you Mark Nicholson. I'm 55 and I can't work because of so many health issue's I won't start listing them. I waited too long and can't draw on my disability's because of that. I thought I would get better. Trust me you need to go and get your disability, you need it. God Bless prayers.

So in all honesty, I HATE country music, like I despise it. However, one of my coworkers played this song today and I couldn’t help but listen to it. I couldn’t really hear much over the grinders and welders but once I got home I looked up the only lyric I could fully make out, rattle of the dog chain, found the song and fell in love. When your in crippling arthritis pain and you got to go to work at 5am and work a very physical job that works you to death for 12 hour 6 day a week and it's the only job that will pay the bills in that town. Kid that need you to push through but your scared that you mite not be able to keep it up due to physical damage your body is on going everyday. Then I step out side and watch the cars go by and look at the stars then I get alittle peace while I drink until I can sleep. Well that what this song means to me cuz that my story.
