My goodness. My girlfriend and I travelled on Mint last Thursday from JFK to Barbados and we sat in those same seats 5C and 5E if I can remember the seat numbers correctly. I had the same Cacio Di Pe Pe pasta, Steak but the citrus salad instead of the chicken and it was delicious. My girlfriend had the chicken and she said also that the chicken was flavorful but a bit on the dry side. Overall we loved it and would travel on Mint again.
Very good review. I also traveled with jetBlue Mint from New York JFK to San Diego last August. However, the ticket price was quite high ($838 for a one-way JFK-SAN ticket even if it was more expensive with Delta), no door to isolate oneself in rows 2 and 4 was working and therefore could not be closed and the cubby door also had difficulty opening and closing. Despite all these minor inconveniences, I really enjoyed to fly with jetBlue in Mint class, it was much better than when I went back from San Diego with Delta (it was cheaper) in their new A321neo first class. The only advantage is I was able to enjoy the Delta Sky Club in San Diego airport as I then returned to Paris from JFK the next day in business class with Air France, Delta's partner company
I just returned from Barbados where I flew JetBlue Mint for the 1st time. I enjoyed it quite a bit. However, I'm over 6 feet and I share a video showing that JetBlue needs to refurbish the bathrooms as well. Seats and service great but the bathroom ought to be addressed.
I really enjoy your review style. Its very cozy. Living in a fly-over state, I'll likely not experience Mint unless I travel specifically to do so, but I'll enjoy it vicariously. Side note: I also enjoy the doofy dude traveling with you.
🍃 I definitely want to try JetBlue mint one day. I may need to get some more credit card points first 😅. The food looked good and the seat locked comfortable. I agree with your assessment of the 2 seat configuration vs the single seat. I think the newer mint cabin has addressed this issue since the seats are configured at a 45 degree angle in that setup.
Thanks for the video Mandy! I flew in Mint for the first time last week on a morning flight, JFK-LAX. I was booked on the newer, single Mint Suites.. and JetBlue didn’t notify anyone of an aircraft change until boarding. So I flew on this config in the throne seat. Honestly enjoyed the seat very much, the breakfast menu was decent, but I had the rudest FA ever on that flight.. scoffed at one customer because she had to repeat the coffee machine was broken, rolled her eyes when I asked for bacon, made an elderly man GRAB HIS OWN GLASS of water. I called the airline and they gave me $100 credit for the poor service, but I’ve never enjoyed JetBlue. Now that my mint experience was not great, I will probably never fly JetBlue again.
Loved the video! I just booked JFK to LAX for about 47k trueblue points. This is my first time booking in Mint and using my forgotten points. Is this a decent deal?
It looks like it would be great to fly JetBlue Mint! Nice video showing us around and it's interesting the solo seats are different than the rest of the seats
cool video! I heard there is two JetBlue mint products. questions; For the flight itself: Did you pay out of pocket or with pts? Lastly, did you want to choose the mint classic or you could not find the new mint classic seats?
Paid economy and used the move to Mint certificate to get the free upgrade. Timing was tight, so didn't really optimize for the new product. Will try the new one sometime this year since the certificates are easier to use in 2024.
I think if you can find Mint for under $1k RT domestic, it's a good deal. Sometimes there are cash upgrade offers at the counter for a couple hundred dollars (very rare).
AFAIK it's meant for in-flight use (same with headphones, blankets, etc.) Some other international airlines do give you pajamas that you can keep though!
Awesome review, Mandy! Looking forward to trying JetBlue Mint between JFK and SFO, perhaps in May. Thanks for sharing your experience!
great video as always, but I must say, your audio is amazing. You can't hear the ambient airliner cabin noise, best I've ever heard from a plane.
Thank you! :)

Excited to try the newer product later this year! :)

Ugh, that's a bummer that service ruined it. That's how I feel about the service on United 😅 FA's on JetBlue and Delta are usually the most friendly.
I Havent Experience JetBlue Mint Domestic,But Have Experirece JetBlue Mint Suite London New York I Love The Product.Great Video
Great review! It reminds me of the time I met you and Sebby in the Denver Centurion lounge a few years ago. Thanks for what you do!

I'm so excited to fly Mint this coming January from JFK to SFO and I got the throne seat!
Best seat in the house haha :)

@@MandyRoams awesome to hear! I heard the pts for mint are crazy high! really enjoyed the overview.
Great review! Thanks Mandy. Would it have been worth it to fly Mint if you didn’t have the upgrade certificate?

@@MandyRoams thanks!
Nice - would like to try Mint.
😮 they brought back the massage feature?! yes!
So JetBlue has no lounges at JFK? I will be flying out from there soon
How did you end up at T4 when Jetblue is T5? Did you board the plane at T4?
Centurion Lounge is in T4. Allocated extra time to make it over to T5.
You didn't say what terminal was the AMEX is lounge located =/
🍂
have u fly alaska business or first before? if yes how was it? compare to jetblue within domestic!
Alaska first class is just a wide reclining seat. Can't compare.
Silly question can you keep the pillow
AFAIK it's meant for in-flight use (same with headphones, blankets, etc.) Some other international airlines do give you pajamas that you can keep though!
🍃🍃🍃
uh, I don't think SFO is located there on the map....
Good catch! Oversight on my end. 😅
I’m here first!!!
Hii CJ!! :)
@@MandyRoamshey!! 🍃
How did u pay for it
Paid for economy and used a Move to Mint certificate for the free upgrade.
that's cool. Would you say it would be worth a points redemption? JetBlue seems to charge a lot for mint rewards.
You're so pretty and cute 😊! 6:30 I'd love to give you a hug 🫂
we need MAWR mandy in sandals!
