- Years ago there was a fan that drew a birthday picture for Cory on Newgrounds. Chris tells this fan on Skype that he going to be gone for a while to train to become an astronaut.

@@MannyNamiro He grew obsessed with Chris' girlfriend at the time, tried to invite her out alone on a boat (which is weirdly similar to the Always Sunny bit), embarrassed himself by crashing a Smiling Friends premiere party to try to make a, in his own words, 'power move' on Chris to impress Veronica and then made an 'apology' video where he blamed Chris for everything by saying Chris was concerned about the boat thing while simultaneously admitting that he was already obsessed with Veronica at that time and still is.
Essentially, he burned his bridges with the Sleepycrew and outed himself as a sociopath.

I remember when they made that Brony cartoon, I left an angry review, and someone responded to me. The comment has been lost to time, and I actually hated the funni boys for awhile because of that
@butter dog I think my review was just "thats not how bronies act this isn't funny!" and I wouldn't be surprised if Cory responded with "lol". Most of the other reviews were more of the same kind of comments of general hatred and disdain for a flash cartoon, with maybe one in every twelve comment being "lol I hate bronies so much its unreal"
All this talk about Newgrounds where being allowed to be an asshole is healthy reminds me a lot of FunnyJunk

I like Tome...
It’s okay to like Tome. I liked it too. Doesn’t mean these dudes didn’t have valid criticisms, and Chris Niosi does/did clearly have a problem accepting some criticism or improving. These dudes were harsh as fuck, but they are better than him, and told him in ways he could’ve improved. Writing was subjective but in terms of art, yeah, he could’ve shaded things better since it looked so flat. Or that time when the colors and redesigns of the characters got worse. But I digress, it’s okay to like something despite its HUGE flaws.

Ok as someone who uses iFunny let me say that there are subgroups of people who are conspiracy theorists, black pilled, government hating, edge lords. Shits funny as hell and fairly accurate to what you’re saying. There is quite a lot of autism though but that’s to be expected
TheOneShotWunda but the people on iFunny won’t amount to what people on Newgrounds did. There’s no originality on iFunny, it’s just repost after repost. Sure the people on both were edgy, but the Newgrounds creators have talent. iFunny users are just edgy libertarians who’ll grow out of their phase.
Shrimpy Bebo there are tons of original content creators on iFunny. You just need to know where to look, there’s no front page or any good search function so it makes it pretty hard to find those gems but a lot of content comes from iFunny and it gets poached by instagram and reddit despite them having watermarks that will say iF/(insert username)
