I really like AiC with Duvall, he adds some energy to the band you really can’t find a reason to hate unless you nitpick. I love how lively he is when he plays, and him and Jerry harmonize really well.

I felt like I paid to see someone sing karaoke and I would have enjoyed it more if nobody sang.
Jerry is very good at creating great harmonies with whoever he's singing with. I don't think people appreciate enough that he could so well match Layne and Will even though their voices are all so different.
Jerry can even make a frog sound good. I'm not sure why he didn't want to become the lead singer since he does it on his solo work. I can see that taking over for Layne (a sad story of the loss of a great friend/band member including the fact that he too tried hard to save Layne from himself) would cause many disapproving comments that wouldn't even be close to being fair, given his effort to keep Layne alive. And I don't mean any of this in a negative way, AIC is still my favorites band and that means a huge amount to Jerry and his talent. I have nothing but good things/intentions to say about Jerry.

His solo work (that I've heard so far) makes him fall flat and prior to hearing his solo work or as the only singer, I used to try to get people to give him a chance since we can all agree that there will never be an equal replacement for Layne and it seems like they chose someone who is the furthest from Layne just so they can say that they aren't "replacing Layne". I would love if they replaced him with the lead singer from the cover band Allison Chains.

Duvall was an unbelievably unique and great fit for Cantrell to be able to carry AiC on. Other bands try to just replace the lead with a copycat but AiC here is just another version with what they have now and it's awesome.

They not only sold out a huge stadium, they absolutely killed it sounding as good if not better than when they were younger so no that's not going to happen nor did it. I listen to AIC more too, but the Duvall factor is why that will never happen even if it enables them to continue on. They made a horrible choice with this guy, Jerry should've just took lead and have this idiot on back up or found someone that had any sense of tempo, pitch ect and I would've loved to go see them without Layne but not like this, anything but this....
