There is a thought experiment called the "shopping cart theory". It basically states that your under no requirement to return a shopping cart to its area but how you chose to handle that cart speak to your moral character. Same thing applies here "Hey guys I was just being a pirate in a pirate game" or "it's a sandbox I can do whatever I want" are just ways of saying "I have zero respect for the people, their time, and the moment this is meant to honor." Video game or not, doing this just points to you being a piece of shit of a human being because you get more enjoyment out of ruining something so touching to many just FOR THE LULS. Virtual or not, the way you chose to present yourself matters. Just because you CAN do something, doesn't mean you SHOULD. You're either going to delete this, ignore it, or try some snippy snide clap back that will most likely get ratioed because your honestly in the moral wrong for this and can't justify your actions outside of shallow jokes and quips that just make you look like more of a tool. Can i suggest a 4th option? Why not pause, reflect, grow a little and go "god damn, i might have been an asshole here and that isn't ok" and possibly ACTUALLY apologize for being a douche bag and mean it. This is literally to commemorate a deceased rare employee that was beloved by their peers, and the fact that you decided to crash the ritual is both disrespectful to the entire SOT community and to the deceased. Doing this shows how much of a scumbag you are as an individual, and there is absolutely 0 excuse for this.
