I did my best "Luke losing a hand" greenscreen throughout. 🤣 An open world Gameplay Trailer was added following rendering. It has not changed my consensus on the Open World, not does I feel it remedy the major gameplay issues I highlighted. Overall, this may adjust the scoring up to a 4.5 out of 10, but changes none of my core criticisms.
I dunno, im pretty hyped in the sense that we get the opportunity to explore these cities and towns on star wars planets. Love the idea of bringing back that 70's 80's asthetic as well. I am cautiously optimistic though i agree that it feels fflat in some regards, i think it still looks promising.
I'm optimistic about the aesthetics of the whole thing (and yea haha, that 80s vibe wasn't meant to be a knock - I feel they nailed it) - but feel the execution will be quite poor. If Vess' sole motivation is to planet hop looking for experts there's not much reason TO explore beyond these areas, where there is good opportunity to develop parts of the cities/planets that have yet to be seen. I worry about alot of wasted potential in putting effort into areas we will just tear past on our way to the next objective (which I find is a problem in many ACs of just getting in - doing the objective - and leaving). But yea - I'm quite optimistic about the visual aspects of all of it... just much less the rest. The trailers don't really highlight what is offered to look forward to (say a mission) and what that will look like.
Thanks for the kind comment! The analytics have been... less than kind of my opinion so far and thought I may have been way off base haha - though also would be super stoked if I was wrong admittedly. Could be such a cool game.
idk... i think im just so over what has been done to star wars again and again, i just do not care anymore, about this or the other game coming. idc.... these games are like the netflix shows
I'm always hopeful, but I find there alot of red flags surrounding this one. It also seems that the only leveling may be through the experts which is odd as it could have built in a Valhalla style tree or something. Thanks for the comment 👍
