Love bringing clubs and mace into yoga moves! I did yoga for years and always wondered why they called it "warrior one or warrior two" position. At least with a mace in my hands I feel more like a warrior! ☝
yep! most yoga teacher trainings do not even touch on the origins of the warrior positions- being used for millennia to train WARRIORS for battle. We cover this extensively in our workshops, retreats and my 100 Hour Steel Mace Vinyasa Teacher training. Big thank you to @markwildman for his education on all of this over the last 5+ years with our students
Love this set of movements. I train with an Adex Arc so the wider hand position is perfect. Also, I like these movements as they are more of a set of bends/stretches rather than swings. I love mace swinging movements and train them every week, but this will be nice to incorporate as something a little different.
Fantastic!
This is what I need for my prime sports in offseason: "jeans and working boots" as Mark Wildman fashion advise and outdoor core work with iron tools.
That’s the spirit! 😎 These are carhart overalls with my classic blundstone boots, that I live in year round in the pacific northwest
@@SummerHuntington Thank you!
