    Wonder how this compares to the yosh pipe? The dyno for that slip-on looked more compelling than the whole system IMO

    Im think about getting arrow slip on whithout catalisator, they said it is also euro legal, What do you think ? And i have heard that after slip on bike can lost some torque

      In Europe it won’t be street-legal without a cat. Don’t know how it’ll be in other regions. The bike will be also noticeably louder without a cat.

    Thanks for the vid! Do you know if the arrow header tube is making the sound louder? I’m trying to get the most quiet config but still gaining weight. Will clearly take the cata version but don’t know about the arrow header pipe… Thanks

    • @RealRockRacer
      @RealRockRacer  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It's definitely louder. The question is, if it's too loud. For my liking, it's not, especially at lower and mid revs, when cruising around. But if you're striving the exhaust to be as quiet as possible, you have to stick to the stock exhaust.

    does the CRF300L euro5 original exhaust sound the same as the original euro4 CRF250L ??? because i was very okay with my 250L euro4

    • @RealRockRacer
      @RealRockRacer  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I would say they are very comparable, although some people say the CRF 300 L stock exhaust has a slightly different (deeper) tone and is slightly louder. Please remember that Euro5 vs Euro 4 is, as of now, only targeting lower emissions and NOT any noise reduction. This will come 2024 with Euro5b.

    Could u mod the original? I know it's welded. Maybe some way from the pipe side?

    • @RealRockRacer
      @RealRockRacer  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I didn't tried to or intended to change the stock pipe. 1st and as you mentioned, it's welded, 2nd I'll keep the stock parts for when I may decide to sell the bike someday.

    Is the header tube stock or arrow?

    • @RealRockRacer
      @RealRockRacer  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It's an Arrow full system := collector + midpipe + cat + silencer. The inner diameter of the Arrow collector tube is that thick, that the stock collector would fit entirely into inside. So huge difference here.

    Why people go to the significant expense of changing perfectly good new factory exhausts for after-market ones has always 'baffled' me (pardon the pun). If the exhaust is old, rusted and blown then fine, but these days with the electronic fuel injection and mapping all dependent on sensors in the exhaust, the chances of getting any truly noticeable performance in day-to-day riding is likely to be negligible and not worth the expense. My brother has just had to change his exhaust on his 12-year-old 100,000-mile Honda 500cc four, which still running perfectly. The model is so old that even the aftermarket guys stopped making replacements, so he bought a used one from eBay for about a third of the price of a new Honda one. The used one was an original set of Honda downpipes and exhaust and after some struggle getting the header bolts out, without stripping, the bike is purring like a kitten. I suspect it will be good for another 100k.
    My recommendation is to keep the stock until it gives up on you, not the other way round.

      The exhaust mod is the first step towards unleashing the capable power of any bike. It is beneficial for two reasons to upgrade the exhaust system on this particular bike, which is mostly a dirt/trail bike, not necessarily a day-to-day rider for most... The benefits are significantly noticeable in both performance and weight. The exhaust upgrade alone is minimal but noticeable, and In conjunction with remapping the ECU, the exhaust provides one of the greatest forms of power increase, and there are no error codes or check engine lights that stay on after the mods are done. Not only that, it’s also the heaviest part of the bike that is easily upgraded for the greatest weight savings by simply changing a part, next to the battery mod. Weight, performance and suspension are some of the most noticed factors when selecting a dual sport.
      Have you ever noticed motocross bikes? Every single one on the track has an aftermarket exhaust for a very good reason(s). But to each their own, not everyone has the same reasons for upgrading their Dual Sport, and I’m not even referring to sound and esthetics... A dual sport has a wide range of performance mods for every individuals needs, way more than a day-to-day riding machine.

      both of you are crazy. Stock irl sounds pathetic. Sounds worse than a lawnmower. You cant even hear your own bike at a stoplight if youre next to a semi-truck's engine.

    I buy me the Honda crf300l before 4 Month, it's a beautiful bike, but what I not like the bike is a little bit to heavy with 150 kilogram in my opinion. Number two is, the bike could have more power for 300cm3...I miss this. I change the exhaust pipe too, because the original pipe is a disaster of sound and design and it's heavy too. Next bike will be a two stroke.

    • @Rusty-Gold

      It is not an enduro. So yes it is heavier than a EXC300 and it also makes less power.
