- Sound Voltex is a game that I've been aware of for a while but I was happy to find out it's finally available on PC...
check out this crazy japanese rhythm game! I love the music and art direction. I bought the gamo2 faucetwo controller to get the authentic arcade experience lol

Jeez, I thought Sound Voltex was an arcade game. My unstoppable listening to Synthion's songs (where one of her songs, "Blossom", is actually part of the game's soundtrack, at least for Exceed Gear) drove me to try it out on an arcade, and now it's available on PC? (I absolutely did not know)
Having been into a new type of gaming mood starting with the revitalization of my love for Geometry Dash (I got 78% in Clubstep), and now the saga continues with SDVX!
U can set your speed higher :D
hold start button and scroll up(right)
Very cool video to watch, I ended up loving sdvx so much I imported a cabinet to saskatchewan. Hope you're still sticking with it, I'll sub and hope for an update video some day!
I've fallen off a bit but your comment has inspired me to practice soon! Would love to see that cabinet. Shout out Canada!
hallo you can change the hi speed by holding start and turning the knobs. please dont use your palm to roll the knobs. thats called handblading and it can damage your knobs. thank you and goodluck with your SDVX journey.
thanks for the advice! what is the benefit of speeding up? also I didn't know about hand blading thank you
@@MIKESUNDAY the benefits of having your scroll speed up is that the notes dont look cramped so that gives you a clear indication on when you should hit the notes.
@@MIKESUNDAY It's entirely a preference thing, some players prefer their notes moving slower, some prefer faster
@@PotentiallySky you need to raise it for sure. how much is a preference but pretty much everyone plays 6 or more. higher tracks without high speed are basically impossible
Setting the scroll speed higher definitely helps even a bit, you still see hit the notes at the same speed but the chart does not feel so cramped, it helps a lot with sight reading as well, seeing the notes from farther away
Nice FauceTwo. I just bought an FPS EMP Gen2 for beatmania IIDX from them. Got tracking today~ have fun and enjoy! Always good to see more people playing rhythm games
how is the controller so far?
@@Adam-574 I love it! I was already 8 Dan on keyboard and clearing some 11's but since then switching to a con I've gotten to 9 Dan in IIDX and sl0 in BMS, broken into 12's and am working towards 10 Dan. After adjusting to it, my scores and clear lamps have improved so much.
The FPS is a great controller and the build quality is really nice. I'd say if you have the money you should still probably get a Phoenixwan (or alternatively, I believe Yuancon released the Dx6th recently), but if you're on a budget the FPS is amazing for the price.
@@ganymede4030thanks! I'm so happy for your progress! I've tried iidx with keyboard and my record right now is level 8s with a B rank. ive been saving for quite some time now for a iidx controller and i decided to go with the phoenixwan when i will have enough money. thats why ive asked how was your experience so far with gamo2's controller. i am so exctied to finally play iidx the normal way!!
Hey! it was interesting to see ur gameplay at the middle, the actual homemade SDVX looks and etc. (also if u fc'd 666 at the start, then sheesh, weakest sdvx player here :D)
I fell in love with Sound Voltex
hi! just wanted to drop this, it's best to not use wireless headphones for rhythm games, as they give big latency, maybe consider switching to a wired pair
i'm also new to the game (played for 2 times), on my second play i cleared some exh 15s so best of luck on your plays! the advices regarding note speed has been addressed so yeah (i use 7.20)
good to know! thank you!
i play this game constantly i have issues too addicted
If you're "Mike Sunday", can I be "Matt Saturday"? (LOVE the Sound Voltex series, so many cool Japanese EDM tracks on it and I had the pleasure of playing on some machines in Vancouver)
haha ya go for it! that's wicked hopefully I can play in person one day!
@@MIKESUNDAY Appreciate it!! I'd be down to see more of your arcade adventures as well!!
SATURDAY FROM THE HIT GAME VIVID/STASIS???
hennessy music 😂😂😂
is this the SDVX official where you have to pay monthly in order to play?
it is!
👀👍!
how did you get the faucetwo controller to work with sound voltex? the game isn't registering my inputs
are you using konasute or usc? because for konasute the game should be running natively with the faucetwo but with usc you have to change it to controller in options
@@bentowo im using konasute and using the eAcloud mode (default mode) like what it says on the instruction pamphlet but it still doesnt work
ok, finally got the controller to work, but how do you pay for the basic monthly course?
@@oakerface95just get unamed sound voltex clone. free and better because you can freely have all the songs instead of paying for songs
@@oakerface95 it's a huge pain there are tutorials online
Scott Marcus he moved to San Jose in 94 he’s bunk mate in slugs icecream
Give us an update video bro!!
might just have to! thanks for the comment!
