Nah, they are using the same type as ToF, a self insert MC that talks and actually has a personality. ToF's MC is really cool, but sadly, NTE's seems that it's not going to be customizable like ToF's

In the first moment the char loses his/her memory, and ignore any kind of own personality, goals etc. Even talking, that is far from being what I want in a character. Sure I only played on 1.0, full story, because it was so bad that I didn't want to keep going. And the game acknowledge that, because they kinda ignore the whole 1.0 story after that.

Please go watch the rest of it, if you don't want to, then don't talk about something you don't have full knowledge of, if you watch all of it and still think the same, then I just have to agree to disagree, ToF's MC is my favorite MC in all gachas I've played (like more than 20), but if you don't like it, it's OK, we don't have to have the same opinion
They need to improve the animations of some of the character, especially the transition when they use their ultimate, some of the animations are stiff, unnatural and weird to look at. Still I'm looking forward to the game.
I really hope as time goes on they add more sexy characters like they did for Tof. Im all for cute characters but there should be more variety. And also need bikes.

they are going to the usual self insert mc. They should try Hi3rd approach, with a more relevant main char.
The mc can still be relevant even as a self insert type character. Actually most self insert types are normally the main story drivers of games
