Thanks for watching everyone and I'm looking forward to sharing more of my fishing experiences all through winter with you from loads of different venues!

Nice to see you back on the mighty Don, had a cracking session in September with 5 barbel, one at 2lb, 4lb 8, 6lb 4oz, 6lb 8oz and 6lb 12oz. All on robin red 8mm pellets, after the first one I had a pretty hard fighting fish on looked like a chub, it comes closer in and I see the biggest roach I've caught in my life. Swipe at it with the net, 2lb 8oz specimen river Don roach I'm abit too proud of it haha. Also had a big bream on a 15mm boilie yet nothing else would touch them lmao

That's the joy of fishing a river, you never know what the next bite may bring.

Jamie. I think I’ve mentioned before that I lived in Sheffield (Norfolk Park) for 4 years back in 1986. In those days the River Don was like a toxic waste ground. It fills me with joy to see it fishing like this 35 years later.

Nice to see venues that I know and have fished before. You’re better off in the weir pool for barbel though, I don’t think as many are caught under the bridge. It did use to produce some good bream though that peg you were on.

great videos, as always mate. Had a similar day yesterday, could not find any bonus fish whilst fishing with leam, thought to myself is there any point editing the video lol decided to upload it anyway. Guess we are only human and can't always sort out the bigger fish if they are not in the mood lol

What is the maximum casting distance for waggler fishing?Pls advice from your own long distance angling experience.
    P. S. I am gonna feeding with spomb, cobra or other carp fishing tackles)). For fish bite- binocular fishing glasses. 20 gramms cralusso rocket float and 17 ft rod with 10-35 grams test.

Love those platforms, does anyone know of any other Yorkshire rivers with platforms? Don't mind a bit of work to get to a peg but this year has been silly on some rivers getting to the bank, I've needed a machete on the nidd at times.
I really think if rivers are going to compete with commercials we need to make them more accessible and comfortable, what ever the purists might think. Anyone not able bodied or in advancing age simply can't get down the banks

Absolutely right. I’m disabled and can only access about a dozen swims on my local (30 miles +) waters- King’s Lynn AA. So I tend to fish lakes although rivers are my favourite venues.

Prison in Doncaster has a load of disabled pegs built in above crimpsall sluice and the salmon run opposite it. Some on the river dearne I think also but unsure where
