I found drilling a hole through the middle of the filter and filling said hole with a pipe then reinstalling the filter and updating the vehicles computer not to screw with the new installation to be easier and cheaper in the long run.. Worked for me over a 3000.00 euro filter replacement (BMW)
Does it remove ash out of the DPF? I think the remaining ash in the DPF is the main problem after 100 000 miles, soot will be burned during regeneration by the car itselves every 600 miles. This cleaning method is only useful if ash is removed.

Interesting....how do you go about revving a mk6 golf tdi over 2500rpm when the its limited to 2000rpm unless car is moving?????
