a word of advice, using the real-time camera for google translate is always going to give you shoddy translations, because it isn't translating everything as a whole sentence. it's a bit more time consuming but you get best results (and i mean world-changing compared to the real time camera) by taking a picture of each instruction individually, importing it in the google translate app, and scanning the words from there instead, as it will put all the words together to translate as a sentence
@@maqaroon You can also just use Google Lens translate function. I've no idea why their text detection/translation quality is different when theyre both Google, but Google Lens works better. You can also select the text as if it's a document as opposed to drawing with your finger to highlight the text you want to translate.
@@maqaroon happy to help when i can! its definitely much faster to just put your camera over it but the translations are sooo unreliable i got tired of it and it was just worth it to take pics of all the text itself haha
U can do it directly from google translate, why bother taking the pic separately from camera and then searching for it in gallery n import to use scan function later I- Wastes too much time
@@kittenmimi5326 that's cool, there's a nicer way to inform about it but eye- i cant even- it didnt occur to me at the time because that function, for some reason, has never worked on my phone and i'd just forgotten about it as i had to take pictures manually instead. plus what i usually import is screenshots, something you can't do within the app itself. thanks though
I have been using the rice clay one for quite a long time and have a tip that might be useful for anyone thinking of using it in the future, which I highly recommend because for one it’s cheap and second it’s pretty high quality, compared to a bunch of other brands I’ve tried in the past. The sticking part is pretty easily solved with just a smidge of water, it basically acts like glue and will stick the two clay parts together nicely! Really enjoyed the video overall 😄
Aaah thank you! I have to try that for the remaining pots of clay. I really loved the texture but it was just the sticking part that made things difficult. It reminded me a lot of Modena Resin clay which is really high quality and what I used to make jewellery in the past.
@@maqaroon Oh and another tip I have is that though your method of making the cute little pink seal works pretty well, if you want it to be less bumpy and smoother I’d suggest you roll out the parts of the body separately into simple shapes, like create a ball for the body then the fins separately and when you’re done you can just glue them together with water ^^ It’s alright if the clay is slightly dried, it can be reactivated with a touch of water!
Just some advice about the rice clay and how you said it wouldn't really mold together, I take ceramic classes and in elementary we would use clay all the time! All you have to do is score the surface on both pieces, slip (just and a very small bit of water and rub on both surfaces), and then attach the pieces, then finally smooth over with a toothpick exactly as you did. Hope this helps! Bye
I’m really surprised she didn’t know that cuz she’s been doing clay videos for so long & I learned that at arts camp when I was a kid too. Knowing that trick has helped me stick other things together too I just can’t remember what 😸
Thanks for sharing, I have been trying to find new clays. I even have combined air dry clay and modeling clay, by kneading the clay as you would a dough. I think it's my favorite clay so far.
Your videos have always been the best!!! I can't believe it's been 4 years since I found your channel. Your voice always calms me when I'm stressed. Hope you continue making great videos and don't forget to take care of yourself!!!
Oh I also found a weird kind of clay at sostrene greene (I don't know if you have the shop in austria but you could try qnd shop from their online shop?) They have mostly home decor stuff but also a variety of crafting supplies (even things to make your own paper, like the frame and pulp mix you can buy!) and I recently found a clear air drying clay! I bought it and its a putty/slime consistency which will loose its shape when used on its own but if you mix it with beads it holds its shape pretty well. It also shrinks while drying so it's not that well for using with like silicone molds
Have you tried using activator on the jelly clay to see if it's PVA? I love this idea! I've also recently heard this about Amazon Japan and I swear it must be relatively new. I'd tried to order from them a few years back and you needed a proxy service. I saw "jelly" and realized I kind of want to see you do some gouache stuff, although I know that paint might be too artsy and less crafty. Using it, I was like "where has this substance been all my life??"
Yes I ordered something from Amazon Japan many years ago (Puni Gel) and remember it was pretty complicated so I never really bothered since then. But now it works exactly like any other Amazon and you can easily browse just the items that ship to your country!
that was very interesting thank you, I didn't even now you could buy from Amazon Japan. I love it when you show us new things I have never seen before. 💖👍🏻👍🏻XXX
The weird thing is I bought a kit (Puni Gel) from Amazon Japan many years ago but it was because I was specifically looking for that product. It didn't even cross my mind that I could browse for all kinds of other things as well, almost like shopping in Tokyo ✨
I've actually heard of rice clay before bc at the end of a comic book I was reading there was a thing idk what how to say it but it was called "baby frog squad" and yes at the end it said that baby frog squad was made out of rice clay
My cousin once bought me a clay kit from Japan, which waa 3-4 years ago and i didn't even know it was rice clay because the box was filled with Japanese words
When i was a kid we had this air dry clay that when it tried it turned into a foam like texture it was also pretty bouncy if you made it into balls. I wish i knew exactly what it was.
Omg i once used jelly clay i used to squish it (It came in animal designed packaging!) It was so fun to play with! ;) (and the grainy texture i thought was satisfying!) BUT LIKE it was good! :D

Hiiii! One day can you do a video about tips of air dry modeling clap that’s like pottery clay? I just stepped into the pottery pool and I think that your videos are really well explained, thank you!
Do you mean this one? th-cam.com/video/1J8Wq3S75dY/w-d-xo.html This is a pretty old video but it's a really cool pottery clay that you can fire in your own oven without the need for a kiln. It also comes in several shades including white. This is also sold from Amazon Japan, I saw it when browsing for the clays from this video!
Just discovered your fab channel! Can I ask - do you not worry about what chemicals may be in these things? I don't know what the regulations are in Japan but I'm wondering if maybe the reason why these products aren't available in the UK is because they wouldn't pass our regulations on safe ingredients.
i've seen one of those putty eraser clays before , in my school i remember they sell one of those clays when i got home i try adding a bit of water to the putty clay and then the texture becomes a bit unstretchy , so then i realize i should stop adding water to the clay 🧐
Hey!! I used to watch your channel all the time Edit: I should comment about the video huh? Okay, so these all seem like fun cute alternatives for kids. But I don’t see myself buying these (except MAYBE the nerikeshi clay) I might be biased since I’m fond of kneaded erasers.
I'm thinking that the wax feel the rice clay has is liquid paraffin, there is a youtuber that has a recipe for cold porcelain with it for the purpose of making it translucent.

I hope you do more of these!! I love when you review kits, clay and resin kits especially
YES
For the jelly clay you just need to cool your tool for detailing. Just put metal tools in the freezer
Love that the putty eraser kit just used a 1.7 ml centrifuge tube as the measuring tool lol
Haha so that's what it's called!! I spent ages when writing the script trying to figure out how to describe it without knowing the name 😆
@@maqaroon We call them eppis or Eppendorf tubes
I think I know why the putty ended up that sticky. The instructions clearly said to "Put on a child's dress in a cup of ice". (6:16)
I’m so glad I’m not the only one who realizes that it said that 💀

Ahh!! I so enjoy watching you test clays and squishy things😂 who knew you could access Amazon Japan?? That’s so cool

A little advice on putty clay, you can make your clay bigger by mixing in eraser crumbs
btw for the eraser one most likely needed to be kneeded for much, much longer! long enough that its entirely smooth when stretched
You should make a video about putting different types of clay like this into different types of slime.
Love how you put ditto in there
I have loads of squishy dittos coming in a future video. It's so easy to make 🤣
I wonder if you coated your tools in a bit of petroleum jelly or if you used silicone tools it might work better on the jelly clay
That's a good idea! I think the wooden texture of the toothpick was also too rough for the clay
6:18 "i'm done chasing you"
LOL😊
I wanna eat the jelly clay, it looks so satisfying
It does! It looks like a pudding
You die when you eat it
I wonder if these could work in clay cracking videos lol

The amount of money this girl spends on clay is honestly crazy, but it’s amazing aswell
The clay made out of rice is probably the most asian clay ive ever seen

This is so cute and cool! I never seen those
Omg I remember watching you a while ago, I’m so happy I found you once again :D
Can you put a link in your channel where to buy all of these please thank you!
Blu-tack works well for a type of rubber:)
1:29 actually that’s how most clay works because it’s hard and then you have to need it to make it soft

Oh! This reminds me of the wheat clay I saw at Daiso the other day!
Great video as always!
Nice work
Does it show yen in Amazon if your in normal Amazon still?
jelly clay is my new favorite clay 😍
I think it got lighter because they used coulouring powder and not acrylic to colour the dye @8:37
Awwww those r so cute!
The jelly clay reminds me of your slime videos 😄
Even though your kneaded erasers aren't as cute as the Japanese ones, at least they come in a fun color, the ones in the u.s are just gray 🥲
Yes, I find the grey colour very odd because it gets much harder to see when the eraser becomes dirty!
When i was a kid we had this air dry clay that when it tried it turned into a foam like texture it was also pretty bouncy if you made it into balls. I wish i knew exactly what it was.
I’ve got some at my local dollar store! I’ll check what brand it is but it’s just called “air dry clay” on the package
That would be so cool
Magic model
I think I’ve had something like that on my hands a while ago, it might be called “light clay”?
Omg i once used jelly clay i used to squish it (It came in animal designed packaging!) It was so fun to play with! ;) (and the grainy texture i thought was satisfying!) BUT LIKE it was good! :D
Aw that's so cute I love your stuffies I love them1😊🥰
thinking of buying the putty rubber as normal clay ngl, looks good as a sculpting sort of thing
I like the idea of clay rubbers!
2:30 Ditto!
I wonder if the eraser clay would reactivate if you added water to it after it dries
6:18 why were you chasing me in the first place???
You looked chase-able
