    Keeping the foot flat-footed helps do this naturally. Alot of people don't use much of there heels. I'm going to try and lean forward more

    Hello Sir,
    I am climbing 600 stairs,
    two times a week for exercise purpose, since last two months. I got excellent result in just two months.
    I don't have any problems in my knee's till now.
    But my friend tell me that, this kind of exercise can gradually damage your knees in long term ?
    Is it true ?

      Hello Manish,
      Every exercise has its benefit but if done incorrectly (eg . technique, dosage) may cause harm.
      If your technique is correct you may continue climbing stairs with proper recovery (eg. stretching, foam rolling).

    I just tried this and can't do it because I live in a row house and the steps are not wide enough for me to to place my feet on so I have to walk up the stairs sideways any work around here?

    • @OptimalMovementMethod
      @OptimalMovementMethod  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hi Liam, it would good if you can send me a video of you climbing on the row house stairs, then I'll be in a better position to advice. Email - optimalmovementmethod@gmail.com. For the time being you may start strengthening your calf muscles as the steps are not wide and you'll be loading the forefoot more!

    I am an obese can I correct my knee pain

    • @OptimalMovementMethod
      @OptimalMovementMethod  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hi Rajni, yes you may fix the knee pain. Your recovery will depend on the actual knee condition, severity of symptoms & contributing factors. I will suggest you to consult a physiotherapist for a thorough assessment , so that the physio can design/plan a specific rehab program for you. All the best 👍
