Love this asian tour series. I’m a Singaporean who has been following JDT for the longest of time. Thank you for coming to asia and spread the football on the other side of the world, would love to visit europe stadiums some days too.
I'm a Brit living in Johor. JDT have an amazing set-up. In the time I have lived here they have gone from a few thousand fans and a fairly average stadium to the cool new stadium and thousands more fans. It's a great place to watch a game, but JDT really need some competition, it's ridiculous how far ahead of every other team.
it's easy to say, when the royalties literally owned the club, while the rest of their competition is a gathering of small time investor who have absolutely no passion for the game, just the business side of it, sponsorship give them airtime. Unless a big time syeikh or the other sultans wants to buy one team, there will be no worthy competition im afraid
Greetings from Stuttgart (Germany). Great video mate! I went to Malaysia earlier this year. Unfortunately couldn't see a game, but I bought this crazy Selangor shirt from last season I believe. It has this crazy black and red pattern all over it. It is honestly my most worn football kit at the moment. I was so surprised by the quality and creativity of the malaysian kits in general.

what a massive club JDT is. certainly improves the quality of football in Malaysia. Its sad to hear when people believe that its better to not have them in our league because their level is so high comparing to the other team. I believe instead of that, the other clubs should follow the path that they've already made. there's no secret in success. the basic things like training grounds, the people running the club, the facilities, must be improvised first before thinking of the "on the pitch" stuffs. Of course some teams don't have the financial capacity to do all of that, but people need to start realising that football club can also be a good investment. at the same time you will be giving back to the community, to the town, and to the nation. Great video btw, thanks for showing JDT to the world!!!
When royalty back up the club, you know why they succeed so much. It's no different than a club from north Korea with April 25 SC who completely dominated their league because of Kim's dynasty support. And so with how real Madrid becoming over-successful during the dictator Franco era

Even tho KL city reach afc cup finals and beat jdt in malaysia cup finals, still theyre not a big club, theyre mid table team every season and they doesnt have their own training facility, theyre pretty underdog,i would say selangor is below jdt due to their past success and terengganu fc
@@adam55244 well in point' of view of Foreigner , they big , atleast Cup expert . They Runner up Of AFC Cup last edition , win local cup last edition , Enter 3 Final in 2 season . That's impressive .
@@Luonguyen457instead of KL city, i prefered to feature Terengganu FC team.

I hope you are a keeper😮
Welcome to Johor, mate....nice video after following your stadium tour around great Britain...but, jdt was rebranded from Johor FC...not Johor FA.
