The waterproof version of the Cloudventure could be a good shoe for wet and cold and snowy conditions, both for running and for general use. It looks classy enough in the black color that it can be worn with dress clothes and in social situations and it does not look like you are wearing a weird running shoe or a sneaker.
I actually have a pretty wide foot, 8.5 double wide but won a pair of version 1 of the cloud venture in a 9.5. bought a pair of v2 and now v3. you can tell my foot is technically "too wide" but I've never worn a better shoe. never get black toes or any kind of pain. they still feel unbelievably comfortable... outsole is amazing... love everything about the shoe. may be an unpopular opinion... but I am a hobbit footed man who has found my go to trail shoe in the cloudventure 🤷🏽♂️
your teaser pic shows you running through a puddle but that's not shown in the vid...how do they hold up? are they somewhat repellent at all or do they soak up water like a sponge?
I must have forgotten to add that shot in for some reason. This version I have is the non waterproof version and I wouldn't say they soak up water like a sponge but like any non waterproof shoe, you'll get wet if you go through a puddle. They are available in waterproof for slightly more $ though
Did you reach out to On (or store that you bought at)? They have a great warranty and I've seen them give new pairs of shoes for smaller issues than a ripped toe box

Wanting a other pair of on shoes. But ripped out of nowhere from the toe box right Down the side of the seam. No heavy use either.
