    This has saved me twice over three years so I’ve saved $80 in buckets and more importantly avoided the plastic waste. Thank you!!

    Thanks! I had no clue what to buy! I'm ordering now so I can fix mine!

    I literally used mine ONCE before it broke. Idea: companies actually make lasting products instead of screwing their customers out of more money!

      Exactly why I'm on this video! Used it once and didn't even finish mopping half of the room before it barely spun anymore

    Thanks so much for this video. After my O Cedar broke I bought another kind for $100.00. It is a piece of junk, at least the 6 mop heads for new one does fit my old one.. I am so happy to be able to come to You Tube to learn almost everything. I am thrilled.

    A few notes. I was able to get the screws out of the support bar with linemans plyers. Something skinnier might be better but they were handy. It was annoying but only for 10 minutes or so. Lubed mine with white lithium and got it moving but still sticky. Great vid thank you very much!

    It was a pain to get the old ball bearing part but once I did it smooth sailing. Thanks for the helpful video!

    Thanks for the video. I almost ordered the part but decided to try greasing it and it now works great.

    Dude thank you, I took the pedal mechanism off no prob but didn't realize the bearing wasn't just a heavy duty bolt of sorts to keep the upper gear on until i found this.

      I agree but I bought a newer one and spent more money and it was worse. I am going to try fixing it.

    I just repaired mine. My plastic connector also broke but i glued it back with gorilla glue and UV resin. If it doesn't hold up I'll fabricate one with my 3D printer (I'm a crafter and gamer so i have these on hand)

    I'm kinda annoyed I am even having to look into this issue after only having mine for about 3 months (the $50 one with the separate clean water reservoir)

      Same! I got mine for Xmas & I'm having to Google you its not spinning out correctly. 😡

  • @fleetwin1
    @fleetwin1 11 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

    I have the same issue, and figured there must be a one way bearing somewhere. I can't get the shaft out either, the shaft must have seized to the one way bearing.

      Trying to fix the one we borrowed from my MiL currently... Did you ever figure out a way to get it off?

    • @fleetwin1
      @fleetwin1 5 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      @@MarkBonneaux I had to break the plastic bracket in order to get it off. I wrote to Ocedar, they sent me a $30 coupon for a new unit. The newer units had a different design making it easier to get the bearing off if necessary. I will oil it ever few uses so this doesn't happen again...

    I'm so irritated. I ain't even had the thing for a month and it's already breaking. 😑 and I bought this one to upgrade from the aldi version.....well, that one still works fine. I just hate the separate buckets.

    I think that's just BS that you have to go through all this trouble for a mop bucket that doesn't even squeeze out the whole water properly JUNK in my opinion!
