- Kamala Harris' campaign reports it raised $361 million in August, bringing her total cash on hand to $404 million. Harris' camp notes many of the donations were from first-time donors and more than 60% of donors in August were women. CBS News senior White House correspondent Weijia Jiang has more.

It was not affordable and not good insurance. For the middle class it absolutely demolished good insurance. For the poor, it is definitively a sub standard product compared to what our prior free state healthcare was.

Trump never gives specifics on policy at least with Harris she talks about the 'Opportunity Economy' and when it comes to the border, she's promoting legislation again to secure the border at weak points - new infrastructure at the border and adding 500 new border patrol agents yearly until it levels off. It's unfortunate trump sabotaged the last border bill :(
And then of course she talks about the freedom aspect and not allowing government to control our bodies. You're right though, trump needs to be more concrete with policy.

What you're talking about was back in 2014 there was an overcrowding in the system and and a panel of 3 judges were looking to release non-violent inmates that served ONLY HALF of their sentence - these weren't inmates that served their entire sentence ... like you lied about. I'm 66 yrs old, a single white rural male. Ever since John and Robert Kennedy were shot in the 1960s, I've never seen a candidate worth my vote, so all my life I've never even considered registering let alone voting, until now. All my life, I never cared two hoots about presidents and voting until I watched Harris at her first rally in PA and I caught the enthusiastic social feel good vibe she puts out. It's obviously a very contagious and popular state of being. I normally go the opposite direction from the crowd but I can feel the collective enthusiastic pulse growing inside me and it's like; Harris fulfilling her destiny as the first female president is pulling me to fulfill my destiny as a first time voter. This is Destiny with a capital D, there's no avoiding it. As a woman, Harris will not be just another president, she's the first female president, with the same "first energies" as George Washington. It's one-off. And it makes me wonder... if Harris is affecting a life-long non-voter like me this strongly, how many more first time voters are being affected as well? There's possibly as many as 50 million lifelong nonvoters out there, who just like me, will vote for the first time in their lives this election. This is why I hate watching TV news, too much mob mentality brewing lol
