  • In this video I answer the frequently asked question: How often can you wear compression socks? I discuss this super easy method to prevent tired, achy and swollen legs, feet and ankles by simply wearing compression socks. The use of compression socks is a non-invasive, non-pharmaceutical intervention for leg swelling that is very effective. Especially for people who stand or sit for long hours at a time, compression socks can be most beneficial. The gradient compression helps the veins pump blood back up to the heart into circulation and prevents the blood from pooling in the lower extremities.

As a registered nurse and nurse practitioner, I have been wearing compression socks for many years working long 12 hour shifts to help with aching and swelling. I also wear compression socks while running and training for marathons to decrease muscle aches and to help speed up recovery. Any time I am traveling for an extended period by car or plane, I always wear compression socks to help with blood circulation and to decrease any likelihood of developing blood clots. Compression socks also provided great relief postpartum when I was experience a lot of swelling and aching in my legs.

I have to wear compression socks for low blood pressure. I love my pro compression socks and how fun they are. I was wondering how often do you need to replace your compression socks that you wear daily.

It is recommended every six months for full effectiveness but I tend to use mine a lot longer.

Hi Sandra!❤️ Welcome back my friend! Thank you so much for this wonderful video. I really enjoyed it. Your videos are always so informative and easy to understand. I've actually been noticing that my local Walmart has been carrying more Compression socks lately. Do you happen to know if Dr. Scholl's or MukLuks Compression socks are any good? I've been considering getting some, but I don't know which brand is better. Thank you again so much for this wonderful video. Love your hair, gorgeous as always. Please stay safe and be careful. Lots of love ❤❤❤

@@thesunnyedge Aww! Thank you! You're so sweet. You're very welcome ❤️. I'm doing pretty good, how are you doing? Ok, thank you so much. I can't wait to hear what you think about them. To be honest, I don't really have any plans for the summer, just stay home and keep cool and out of the heat. How about you? Do you have any Summer plans?
