I really appreciate your content and you sharing your adventures. It has helped motivate me to get out there myself. I have suffered from PTSD, depression, anxiety etc. from the military. Your videos have help motivate me to get out and hunt. It has helped me recover. Thanks for sharing and keep up the good work.
My two year old son and I just watched this video together. He was lovin’ it!! Every time the buck was on screen he’d say “deer, deer!” And when you showed the buck up close on the ground he said “WHOAA!” We sure love these videos. Thanks Remi👊🏼
Wow..Remi...Wow..can't believe you were able to film this and shoot him with a mouth tab. Love all that you do and enjoy ing your Livewild podcast. Your the man Remi. Thank you again.. David Stump WA state
Not many folks can make all the different animal sounds I've heard you make Remi. Now I know you can even pull them off with a mouth tab. Respect. I would love to win that hunt with you.
Huge inspiration for me dude. Just laying in bed watching this before my hunt tomorrow. Hopefully finally getting down my first kill, a fallow. Thanks Remi
sigh, really wish I could have entered, but alas being disqualified because I'm living in South Africa lol. Really a bucket list item for sure! Best of luck for all those who enter! Great video Remi!
I absolutely loved this video It’s the first time I’ve seen someone show how you set up cameras and phones to self film. Pretty cool! It has to be extremely difficult to be quiet and double the foot work. And throw a mouth tab on top of it! Great Job! Great job
Wow what a challenge hunting rose fallow deer ! Not much cover around them ! And with a mouth tab that added to the challenge ! Great hunt ! Awesome buck ! Congratulations!
Buw hunting is hard and filming is harder now self filmed and with a mouth tab you are a legend and you show when you miss like a human not like others hunting celebritys that never miss in a high fence great video
hope your wrist heals up soon, but you still pull through with a beautiful fallow deer using a pretty hard method, much respect for adapting and overcoming
Dang awesome hunt Rem! Yup that’s a tough one to beat. A stud buck, self filmed, a injury, very limited cover, and using a mouth tab. Man talk about challenges. Very inspiring my guy! Great work!💪🏽🤙🏽👊🏽🏹💯🔥🙏🏽
Another great hunt video! Thanks!👍🏻🏹🦌 Also; your audio is the best, clear & loud, that I ever heard. That adds to the quality 👍🏻👍🏻. Maybe some tips on how you get that quality on a podcast??
Self filming is SO hard. Self filming with archery even harder! Self filming with archery and a mouth tab is impossible! Self filming with archery and a mouth tab and getting the kill shot on video is INSANE!!!
Awesome man im from New Zealand and hunted red deer the deep south has some phenomenal hunting i plan to go again in the future again, what an epic buck bro massive thumbs up brother keep up your awesome work and i hope you have a speedy recovery God bless man
If you hadn't said you were hunting in New Zealand, I would have wondered why they're fallow deer in in sagebrush country. That terrain looks like some place in the great basin. Thanks for sharing
Oh man amazing video!! Love your podcast and these videos! You are an inspiration and you drive me to get better be a better hunter rifle and archery thank you for sharing!
Amazing video of amazing hunting Remi. A mouth tab !!! ??? That's ' the hard way' for sure. Very nice buck. Those little fallow deer often don't drop easily. Be sure to read my NZ hunting memoir RED DEER WRITING, available as a Kindle e-book and as a paperback book, only from amazon.
What a great hunt Remi and thank you for sharing. While not a big advicate of bow hunting because I've seen too many poor shots and the animal took a while to pass. I live in this great country called New Zealand and have shot a few fallow myself. My first was with a 54Cal muzzle loader. Like you, I like to get in close for that ethical kill shot. Now older (70yrs young), I've gone modern now. Was the property you were on DOC land or private and which Island, Nth or Sth? That was some shot considering you were using your mouth as the trigger. I shoot for the table only and don't take bucks smaller than MPB, so always looking for the next bigger one. I like fallow because as an oldie, I can carry the complete animal out and not leave part of it on the hill. I like goats for the very same reason, plus they are good to eat. Always looking for a new place to hunt in the South Island 😄.
How many pounds is your bow set at? Can’t imagine it’s set to high It is very impressive how your able to hold with one hand and shoot with your mouth!!
I think he said on a podcast he was around 65 with the mouth tab but had started lower and gotten used to it. He definitely said it's lower than he usually shoot which I think was 80 if I remember right.
Hi. I am trying to decide If should get into bow hunting? I am 13 and I just got a bow, i'm decently accurate with it but i'm nervous that when it comes down to shooting at the real animal i'm gonna blow it and injure it badly. I have only done rifle hunting before. So if you have any tips for my dilemma please share!
you and Steve rinella should team up in hunt new zealand take Steve trout fishing kingfish fishing ocean diving crayfish scollips paua mussels then hunt the land team up with the clark boys or Josh James nz kiwi bushman..

Great video! It amazes me how you can hunt solo, self film, and shoot with a mouth tab! Just one of them is hard enough!
Amazing hunt! You took it to the Nth degree of difficulty with the limitation of using a mouth tab and self filming. Outstanding job getting it done!
Awesome mate. You need to try some of our spearfishing here in nz too. Would love to get a fallow like that with my recurve.

Hey remi! How’d you get the vertical iPhone footage to flip horizontal for the full film? I can’t seem to figure out how to do it
Should definitely look into getting a camera you can just wear on your body or hat if you haven’t already.
