I should know as the first 10 years of my cycling career; I biked to Chiang Mai twice, to Phuket twice, to Nakhon Phanom reaching Meking river once. Cycling on Mae Hong Son loop twice. Cycling from Loei to Ubon along Mekong river for 1000 km twice. I stopped long distance cycling 10 years ago due to old age (now I am 72). Nowadays, I only do one-day trip to nearby province occasionally, not more than 120 km/day.
I think this is incredible. The TH-camr “Little China Everywhere” has a beautiful channel and she often bikes (scooter bike) across China or parts of China. This is quite the adventure. Taking slow travel to new heights. Haha. In my youth, I used to cycle 100km a day for fun before and after work, so it's absolutely doable. Not sure that I could do it in the shape I'm in now, but you two should be able to take this challenge head on. Looking forward to the videos from it. Sounds exciting

Welcome! I had rided bike from Sichuan (Guangyuan to Xi'an by train)to Shandong province on 2012 when I was q university student,the trip is about 1800km, it's really a very nice trip I can never forget.
When traveling in rural China, many small hotels may not accept foreign guests. Finding accommodation could be challenging, so plan ahead, looking forward to your next video 🙂
Hey, let me tell you something real quick. I've been there - cycled a thousand kilometers and even broke my arm doing it. Trust me, long-distance cycling is no joke when it comes to risks. The biggest dangers? Cars and those tricky mountain roads. Seriously, you gotta keep it slow, especially on those long downhill stretches. I'm talking super careful - one wrong move at high speed and you're toast. And those trucks on narrow roads? Man, they'll make your heart race! Keep your eyes peeled and stay alert. Stay safe out there and enjoy the ride! Safe travels, you guys.❤
