I'm glad you did a video with that yarn! Ever since it came out I've been side eyeing it because I love the texture of those types of yarns but don't like working with the chunky weight. Glad it doesn't shed
I went to my local Michaels on my lunch break today. I think they had 4 different anniversary cakes and I picked up the purple one which is called Hocus Crocus. This is my first time buying one and I only picked up one. No idea what I am going to make with it.
Jealous. Neither of the two stores near me are carrying the anniversary cake right now. So now I gotta decide if I want it bad enough to pay for shipping 🤣
I like the idea of making a new blanket each year with the Caron Anniversary Cakes! 2 years ago I made a sweater in the neutral colorway Last year, a lapghan again the neutral colorway. This year enough neutral! I'm thinking Evergreen or Jubilee.

Technically any yarn can become black if you dye it. Any clothes I've made in the past that I'm not a fan of the color anymore is getting dyed black. 🖤
Hey I ordered some of the new latte cake colors and I’m in love. If you are into the greens.. you should get Zesty color. It’s amazing! I’m definitely making a cozy cardigan with it. 😜 Btw I have a question 🙋🏼♀️ The Bernat fluffee yarn you got.. you are making a cardigan with right? How many skeins of this do you think need for a past waist size medium maybe cardigan you think would need? I was thinking about getting some and thought since they have like 415 yards of bulky 5 was thinking it wouldn’t take much? Your thoughts? Would 2 skeins of this be good? 💜🥰💜
NGL my Michaels has a sample of the rainbow one but they did it in such a way that it looked EXACTLY like the Genderfluid pride flag. 😡 I am actually VERY upset abt that bec i told ppl that i was SURE this collection was going to be like Big Twist living and was going to be "pride" without being obv. NOPE. THEY JUST MADE THE RAINBOW IN A WAY THAT PERFECTLY MADE MY FLAG. I am kinda VERY pissed about it. I was going to buy it but im kinda so upset about it not being the case i prob wont pick it up this year. Esp bec the verigated red looks JUST LIKE the LESBIAN flag. Like WTH. WHY ARE THE SAMPLES LILE THAT 😭😭😭 Idk if thats Carons fault or Michaels fault tho
