Greetings from Holland, where I am impatiently waiting for delivery of my crf300 Rally promised for August. In the meantime, I can try and visualise some of the weightless rider craft in preparation for my autumn ride to lands east and south of here. Keep up the good work because learning is lifelong. Practice, practice is the only sure way!
Appreciate the support Peter! Looking to breakdown our riding into incremental steps! Well look to keep improving the content segments! Mototrek and FortNine set the high standard!
Thanks for making this video. Much appreciated. What boots are you using? How long did it take you to replace your bars? Love the setup. I get my Rally in 1 week.
Glad you enjoy it! I'm using the O'Neal Element Boots www.revzilla.com/dirt-bike/oneal-element-boots?PLA-O%27Neal-Products&msclkid=7fb37becddc11cdfc8801b2584b6816d Bar Replacement Took less than a day (really just waiting on parts to ship in). If you're looking at my front end setup check out the new video I just posted Honda CRF300L Rally: Rally-Nav ADV Setup th-cam.com/video/52BnTD-m_kc/w-d-xo.html
Hey Buddy. Nice video and you have a great approach on the camera. Just a word to the wise, you should get some personal coaching. It’s obvious you are lacking some awareness on your technique. There is only so much you can learn from Videos. If you want to teach others you should be competent with your subject matter, however sharing your journey and what you have learned is a great idea- just be careful to not teach others your bad habits. Ps I work as coach development in the off road motorcycle industry.
Well said JP, I appreciate the support deep respect! in honesty I don’t have all the answers hence our beginner rider series! The fun of this is that I am a beginner, eager to learn and seek wisdom from experienced riders like yourself! If you want me to improve on specific execution tell me where to start and I’ll make the necessary adjustment/improve. I am no Travis Pastrana and I’ll try to make that more apparent! Thank you for the constructive feedback and if you give me the points to improve I’ll come back in the next video and give credit to your input! I think an off-road coach would be great! - Jimmy
@@motormigo3204 Yes if JP could put some suggestions of better techniques here, then we would all learn. I like that Motor Migo doesn't claim to be an expert, and it was fun watching him, and he didn't suggest doing anything dangerous, so there's no danger.
How do you find first gear, when let off the throttle do you hear a little click from the gear box. Like gas on gas off , a little click. I bought a new one and noticed this light not loud little click. I think it’s normal.
@Silvio for what it is worth I'm 5' 8" and the CRF250 Rally fits me just fine. The factory seat is high (890mm maybe ??) but when you sit on it it compresses more than, say, my Tiger 800 would.

Brilliant, I've been looking for a beginner enduro series.

Good stuff! I am an old guy who decided that learning to ride in the dirt is my next departure on my hobby! Thanks for this.
Wow this actually all makes sense to me as an off road ridder with little experience, Thanks.. UK.
Awesome! That’s great to hear, deep respect!

Fuel injection on/off sequence! Completely normal Bill 👊
Hello sir, I just put a down payment on this bike and plan on picking it up next week! It will be MY first bike. Was it your first bike?
It was the first bike I’ve purchased from the dealership new. 120% worth it
Only one question. How tall you are? I'm 180 cm tall and I don't know if I'm tall enough to place both feet on the ground
175cm, you are tall enough for sure
@@motormigo3204 Thanks a lot. CRF will be my Next bike. Un saludo desde España
Bienvenido mi amigo! Saludos y buen provecho en tus futoros aventuras
