We are delighted to be back in Margazhi and in anticipation of the season, we are thrilled to present to you a conversation with our favorite artistes! They say - beware of getting too close to your heroes, you may be disappointed; but this statement couldn’t be further from truth in the case of Kruthi and Vittal. The more you get to know them, the more you appreciate their traits - their authenticity and sincere pursuit of music; the rooted-ness in their general demeanor and expressions straight from the heart - just like their wonderful music which we are huge fans of! Vittal - immensely pleased that you recall GNB’s Malavi / Nenarunchi Naanu as a favourite . I might share with you that I have been listening to this piece for over 50 years on tape and have never tired of revisiting it . Especially the jaarus and other fast thrills towards the finish . It is interesting that a 20 year old and 70 year old have a wavelength connect !!!
