- I am hanging an axe a day for the entire month of October and then we are auctioning them all off here: bid.whiskeyriv...
If you don't want to miss out be sure to hit the bell to turn on notifications for our channel.
Everyday we will post a video of the hang and then that axe will be live for bidding at the Whiskey River Auction House.
This is going to get weird.
Here's the handle I used for this hang: whiskeyrivertr...

Great build. Aesthetically speaking, this is my favorite so far!
Yes! You're right Brandon. I'm still fairly new to hanging my own Axe heads, and I've actually learned a few tips and tricks from your videos. Especially last episode #4 with the Pulaski, and this one with the Osage handle. Thanks for the awesome vids and information.
This is where the draw knife comes in handy you can get very specific with where you remove material.
LOVE Jerseys! (And Hudson Bays, which I collect and got a few from your auctions I didn’t have but, Collins is my brand!!) I will be bidding on that for sure! Beautiful! LOVE this series so far! Can we do an ‘Axe-mas” this December and do the same?!? LOL
Sick combo bro! I love it!!
I actually hate hanging jerseys. I love a good Plumb Jersey pattern axe. I just don't like hanging them. Add ridges in the eye, and I really hate hanging them.. You did great though.
When hanging a jersey, I know already I gotta remove a ton of matterial on the front and middle and back of the eye. Yeah you don't wanna set the head back. If anything I wanna set it a tad forward heavy.
Also rasping to much across to much of the front grain of the handle will weaken the most abused part of the handle
