My Mom has One..Its Awesome! Shes 95. 5' 90# In bed 8-9 hours a day then into a invacare do anything recliner wheelchair the rest of the time
(I help her stand up /move every 3 hours) The only redness she has developed was from a pee pad wrinkle! and she has some boney hips, butt. This pad is on top of a invacare mattress and hospital bed. Its a great combo. So thanks so much for this.

I was told the setting should be at the patient's weight??? My aunt weighs 90# so the setting is at the lowest.. is this correct to prevent pressure sores?
@@Dorado-ej2jy The lowest is working for my mom 3 yrs now, no sores or issues and she is little and rather boney, I tried a higher setting which did give her hip a reddish spot after one night so I keep it at lowest. Be Well 😃

Yes. I’m just a random person but was trying to set it up for my client, and the wife on to test it and she took the tubes out first and said “I’m feeling something!” Well all she was feeling was it deflating underneath her😅😅. So yes you keep the tubes connected, choose your setting and the pump will continuously work. (But like they say in the video, you don’t really feel it doing anything, but the timelapse proves that it is working.)
Stupid question: Is the alternating pressure pump supposed to be connected into the pad all the time or can I detach it after the 10-min period to inflate?
The pump is designed to work continuously, it should be plugged in 24/7

This particular alternating pressure mattress probably would not fit too well on a recliner once inflated. It would not be able to serve its intended purpose, as it is meant to prevent sore on the body from people who are bedridden

After turning off the pump and removing the tubes, you can try rolling the mattress up to push out the air faster!
