Weapons in apex legends have seen many changes throghout all the different patches and changes in Apex Legends, some guns in Season 0 were absolutely broken and some were too weak, various seasons including the Season 13 have flipped the positions on it’s head and yet some are still overpowered and can win you fights just by the having that weapon. Do you remember which weapons were strongest in their peak that could carry your game in each season?

In my opinion one fo the most broken guns, was the G7Scout back in the days, when it was basically a sniper, and had a fire rate really fast, was really a beast if you could hit all the shots.

OG mastiff is probably the most horrifying weapon in apex history
Man and at that time you landed we no armour, so a person would just pick up a mastiff and one pump you back to the lobby. I remember back in those day, people we even call in Mastiff legends.

Havoc.
I was honestly expecting to see havoc when it was released or at least the devotion. Those two guns were demons in Apexs early days, mainly the havoc. Everything about it was deadly and with a turbocharger you were pretty much dead already. (Still have ptsd everytime I hear a havoc wind up😥)
the havoc is still broken🤣 it’s by far the hardest hitting gun rn. needs to be the first AR to go in care package and bring back the volt
@@Reezico Completely agree on this. Havoc is my main weapon rn and you don't even need the turbo that much really. Once you learn how to prefire, the delay is not really a big deal. It hits hard, has almost no recoil even if you do not jitter aim and the fire rate is insane. Close to mid range it's one of the scariest weapons to face in a duel.
Havoc on release was considered garbage. Let’s not forget that lol

I think one memorable op weapon era for me was when volt got released... they buffed all energy weapons back then and pretty much everyone used energy weapons
Two things, the scout was honestly the best sniper, low bullet drop, fast bullet speed, and very quick follow shots made it amazing.
Also many guns were pretty gnarly first season but you absolutely failed to mention that the muzzle flash back then was also wildly absurd, making those high fire rate like the r99 pretty darn hard to use, especially with the default sights
Edit: also, no honorable mention for the full auto prowler? It was a better r99 all around

@@nicolasdegiosa287 it had more than hundred damage. Maybe 104, only 8 less than current mastiff, still that insta kill on a downed enemy is very powerful
@@danielstatler954 the pk has a similar top damage now, a bit over 100. Also the mastiff in s5 was extremely slow without a bolt
@@nicolasdegiosa287 mastiff deals over hundred on body shot while the pk requires a headshot that means either charging it or being point blank on someone's head.
With the mastiff you can one shot a downed enemy even if they try to cover their head
This is why you sub, otherwise you wouldn’t a see it in the first minute
On the topic of "broken", remember how bloodhound had to be nerfed within week one of release
6:20 he says that you wouldn’t have to reload it if you had a golden extended mag. However the charge rifle was only energy ammo for the first season it was released. And once it took sniper ammo it didn’t have an extended mag. Golden extended mags were added in season 8. Charge rifle was added in season 3. So that’s a bit of misinformation.

The golden mag and Purple mag have exactly the same ammo count and purple mags have been in the game so what's the problem?
The most broken state of spitfire was in titan fall 2 with 80 ROUNDS on mag
R-97 with 40 rounds AND stuff was sick
The Alternator was crazy scary back than. I think this was the most useful gun ever.
On apex mobile the Mozambiques hammer point rounds still 1 shot enemies just over 100 HP. It's pretty cool but the hopup is pretty rare to find, even in vaults
i think what made the season 2 alty so OP is that every team would be running alty with and p22 or a mozam that had hammers, so you would get insta cracked and then one taped by a mozam.
I remember being one shot by someone with the ground loot mastiff back in season 5 and 6 because he landed a headshot and punched me right after lol

I think if they put a short cool down on the flash it would probably make him more viable especially for ranked and especially since I've heard him called a pub only legend
i remember almost stop playing apex when disruptor alternator starts show up.
it was so annoying, full auto weapon with basically 30 bullets that 3 bullets brake ur shild.
the game was fully of random people shooting across the map with this toxic weapon.
every fight u need push hard and finish fast or u would run out of bats and cells.
for me that was the most toxic weapon in the game.
IMO The most fun and broken gun would be the pk at its best with 2x scopes
I am surprised you didn't put the original peacekeeper in. I remember when you put a choke on that thing and it would tighten the spread to essentially a single bullet. Meaning you could hit any sniper that was trying to snipe you with a choked peacekeeper for 100 damage. The peacekeeper was in fact the best ground loot sniper in the game.
Honourable mention to R301 - Launch. The killer beam that just performed... everywhere, every time.

If i remember correctly disrupters were released with hammers so after breaking shields it was one tap with the mozam

Wingman,G7 then alternator disruptor were the worst. Spite fire wasn’t even close being the most broken/OP weapon ever in apex history
I’m surprised the rampage isn’t on here with the glitch where you could infinitely charge it. Or the autofire sentinel. Yeah those are exploits but they dominated the game.
Did everyone forget just how broken the Bocek was on release? You literally couldn't fight it at range nor couldn't get close without getting broken in 2 shots
IMO the Spitfire is and never was as annoying and OP as a Turbocharged Devotion.

I assume you’re not mentioning Rampart’s Sheila because it was designed to shred people in half. I mean, it pushes out nearly 6000 damage per drum when behind a rampart shield, and fires absurdly fast with almost zero recoil after the initial spin up.

You forgot the April fools mozambique! It had a shit ton of rounds, did nuclear damage, insane fire rate and was everywhere in floor loot. Dat shit slapped!

Bro I had literally the weirdest bug happen to me last night i literally was stuck in the drop ship for 30 mins in solo Q ranked but for some reason my teammates were yelling at me that I was just standing there then I finally code netted and lost RP but didn’t get a ranked warning or anything it was so weird

The kraber was a strong weapon but not broken. In a game that build on MOVEMENT there was a weapon that had a very very big bullet travel time, big sound(so you can hear it from the other side of the map), slower than avarage reload time, only 8+4 bullet and it could kill anyone with HEADSHOT. How was this broken?

Gonna be that guy but the charge rifle would never be able to use a golden mag (6:18) since sniper ammo was added before gold mags
Eva 8, Charge Rifle, Havoc should all go into the care package. kraber, & mastiff need to be floor loot. it’s dumb they aren’t. they aren’t broken when not red tier & it’s so easy to change damage of the guns anyways.
