You should at least keep a $20 dollar bill on you! There have been times I have gone into stores and their systems were down! They told people they couldn’t take credit cards... but they could take cash! This is what happens when folks solely rely on credit cards!

You don’t need to carry too much cash. You should keep a dollar in change and two 5’s and ten 1’s for emergencies. Keep it stashed away in some part of your bag and keep it for emergencies only. If your bag gets lost or stolen then the sting won’t be so bad since it’s only $21.
