@fruitlady9 The ride was actually supposed to open with the park. But from what I've been told, the ride vehicles had so many problem with all it's extra moving parts that the company that built the ride had to design completely new trains. It seems that Universal has had nothing but bad luck with some rides. First with Jaws, then this ride, and now the Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit roller coaster.
@anglerfly It's actually one long track and there really isn't a name to both sides that I know of. I usually call on side, the "Star On" side and the other, the "Star Off" side.
It looks like fun, but they clearly still have the Sneeches theme in the architecture.....even if the narration doesn't reflect it. It makes me wonder what the script for the Sneeches ride was supposed to be....Hmmmm :)
I remeber when the track wasent a ride and just a decoration they had fake dr suess animatronics riding the the vehicles the vehicles looked very different it was a one seater it was when the park first opened
@anglerfly Mack is the company that made this ride. They also make rollr coasters, but those are very rare.

@daniel chris This is the length of the ride. They haven't shortened it since it opened.
This reminds me of the People Mover systems in Disneyland & the Magic Kingdom.
When I went on this ride, the left side was up and running but the right side was down. The cast member said both side work on busier days.

This ride was so scary!!!!!!!
Whats the different between the two sides?
