I feel you, still crying to this day over this song. I think the meaning of the arrows are the hate she's been receiving throughout the years but not a single one touched her until the arrow that she shot herself which means the only thing that could hurt her is only herself and yet she pushed forward. The whole album is so solid and you can find little connections from one track with another, definitely a no skip album. Rooting for your channel's growth and thank you for the reaction. Subbed!
I suppose if we were to say the arrow she shot literally hurt her, then maybe it means retaliating to the hate comments just ends up hurting her more. Originally I just saw that as a separate scene - that there are times she can't take it anymore and then fires back. And then in the next scene we see her just walking in the meadow and then she's shot in the back, and then she decides to face the arrows head on despite stumbling and feeling pain.
If you think about it, yes the arrows represent hate being shot at her at all times, but only one arrow actually hit her, & it was the one she shot herself. She can withstand the pain & hate others send at her continuously, but only the negativity she sends herself can hurt her. Just a thought

Hwasa’s worst enemy is herself when it comes to hate and criticism. However, she has her amazing members and fans to help her push through those tough times.
Hwasa's voice is just perfect for conveying deep emotion. Combine this with the powerful imagery in this mv, and I'm not surprised you teared up. Even as someone who doesn't understand the slightest bit of Korean, this song just hits the mark. Before the album came out I heard the snippet of LMM and fell in love ... then when the album dropped that was the first song I heard with the lyrics.... and I found myself crying and goosebumps all over my body..... like I tried to stop crying and I couldn’t ....this song is way to beautiful...... I wonder how pple reacted to this without crying...... ur so genuine 🥺🥺

It is very powerful when you see someone on screen with the same skin, eyes, racial features as you fully expressing who they are. This is the power of K-pop, and as Asian Americans who grew up in a predominantly "white" culture, seeing someone who visually similar to you (as oppose to someone who is not Asian) adds a layer of familiarity and makes it more profound. At least that's how it was for me =)
