I still don’t get why Marianas Trench don’t get the deserved attention. Josh is an amazing musician, producer and lyricist.

Afternote. Josh Ramsay is amazing live, I've seen him 5 times lives! Heck, I even touched his chest. They are really big in Canada!. I joke about saying he's a bit of a Canadian Taylor Swift( and I love TSwift!) as he writes a lot about his relationships and Astoria the album is about a break up and called off wedding actually, so Who do you love, is actually really is a sad song, Because, if you listen to the lyrics, it's about a break down of a relationship, it's asking his ex-fiancee what she wants, who does she love because it doesn't feel like it's him.
Astoria is an amazing album, and it was recorded on all authentic 80's instruments and had an amazing 80's feel to it. Josh has an amazing range, he's like Freddie Mercury! I really really hope you do the whole Album....all the albums! they are amazing! The Band is also four guy, Josh is Lead, Matt play guitar and second/backing vocals Mike is is the mohawk, he plays Bass and harmonies, and Ian is the curly hair sideburn guy, he does drums and harmonies as well!
They also have some amazing live preformances of this song as well.
Omg I saw them live in Regina and Josh was doing flips and acrobatics up in the air with chords and a harness, while singing the whole time, like no lipsync, true talent, this band is probably one of the best I've ever heard, I've been listening to them for almost 14 years now
So psyched you’re getting into Marianas Trench! If you decide to dive full on into them I think you will love them! They’re so artistic and catchy at the same time!
Their albums are each so unique and complete! Masterpiece Theatre was huge for me and Ever After is literally a full piece of art! Each track leads into the next and it is a story!
Both are awesome! Masterpiece Theatre III is sooo amazing.

Mariana’s Trench is one of my top bands of all time. They are amazing entertainers; just absolutely spectacular live. These guys are right up your alley. Very early pop punk, great lyrics, and outstanding harmonies. I would watch the crap out of more reactions to them, or *fingers crossed* an album deep dive.

The best of Canadian music right here! I’ve loved them for 10 years, they’ve been a safe place for me through every important part of my life. Saw them live before covid hit and they are as incredible live as they are recorded! So happy to see you reacting to them! 10/10 super happy right now

I saw them live and he was amazing. You should definitely do more of their music. And music videos! One of my favorites is fallout. They have some good serious ones and some good goofy ones you'll like them a lot I think and I mean vocals and harmonies you will die :)

Marianas Trench are that band that you love but always forget about, tbh. Like I constantly find myself going back to them and it always feels like I'm hearing them for the first time (very similar to how I feel about The Summer Set)
Their song "Forget Me Not" was written for his momma since she has dementia. It's so beautiful and sad.
I so knew you would love Josh's vocals. And he is a gufball such as our beloved thim Fletcher so you will love him too
Okay I’ve had Mariana’s Trench on my Spotify for a least a couple years now and I guess I must’ve just assumed since I hadn’t heard about them before then, there was no way they could be that popular bc for some reason I never looked them up to see if they had music videos for any of their songs; I was just listening to them on Spotify and never getting tired of their music & talent. After watching this, I can say that I was completely wrong and that it looks like I now have a rabbit whole of videos and performances to happily watch.
I’d love more reactions of their music and would suggest their album Ever After for further listening, although all of their albums are good!

Such an amazing underrated band unless you live in Canada but if I'm not mistaken I think a few of their hits may have popped up on the US side. Josh Ramsey is an incredible songwriter and vocalist and the band borders this really great pop/rock/grunge line.
Masterpiece Theatre and Ever After are beautiful albums if you want to deep dive. Phantoms is also a great underrated more recent album of theirs.
If you're just wanting to dip your toe into them, I suggest maybe One Love, Here's To The Zeros, Pop 101, Cross My Heart or Echoes of You which all have MV's. I hope you keep diving, you won't regret them.
Marianas Trench is my favourite band and they make me proud to be Canadian. You would LVE THEIR HARMONIES so much. Please please pleaaaaae listen to the Ever After album and End of an Era album. You would LOVE ITTTTTTT. When Taylor put them on her recs, I dieeeeeed.

I would die and go to heaven if you did reaction videos for their old albums. Such a great band and Josh Ramsay has such a powerful story dealing with drug abuse and eating disorders.

i worked with these guys in college and they are the best band i’ve ever worked with. so kind and caring to crew and fun all around. immediately they treated us like family and recognized the fact that it’s a team effort putting on a concert. They taught me so much about how good people can be.

I'm so surprised you haven't heard of them! You definitely need to check out more of their songs. Marianas Trench got me into music. Feels like a stretch to say something like that but when I was around 13 I didn't listen to much music and they opened the door to that for me and introduced me to pop punk. Their album Ever After is forever one of my faves.
I've only found Marianas Trench last year but their songs are phenomenal! Generally my music taste is extremely varied and usually most artists who appear on my playlists have only one or two songs I really, really like. But I guess that's not the case with Marianas Trench!
The Killing Kind was the first song I found but since then I've listened to way more of their discography and found so many more songs by them that I absolutely love. It's just a shame I didn't know about this band until 2022.
Please listen to more of their music. They are an extremely talented band that is constantly evolving and so musically gifted. Canadians don't always get the recognition they deserve.
I've loved them or soooo long and they're so underrated bc they only really play on Canadian radio not American. They did a concert for my university orientation week, absolutely incredible performers. I've heard nothing but good things about them. My former high school's choir performed with them (the year before I got to high school) my cousin was in it though! Also, Stutter and Fallout. Love those two songs.
I was one of the people constantly suggesting them in the comments. Here is info, they are Canadian. They do Concept albums so each album sounds different. I 100% believe that you would love all their other stuff. The albums in order are: Fix Me, Masterpiece Theatre, Everafter, Astoria (where this song is from), and Phantoms. On top of that, Matt Webb in the band has a few solo Albums, and Josh Ramsay (lead vocals) is releasing a solo album soon. Josh released the first Single Lady Mine ft. Chad Kroeger (from Nickelback) and the video is up now. Josh does almost everything on that album, he also writes all of MT songs and produces them. Josh was one of the writers for Call Me Maybe and he was one of the producers on it too. I can't stress how happy I am to see you react to them.

this is one of my fave Canadian bands and their album Ever After was so important to me growing up! From their newest album, you have to check out Echos of you and the killing kind! Their sound is so so incredible, and probably my favourite I’ve seen live!! Also since you like 5sos, the lead singer Josh co-wrote story of another us for sgfg!!

I honestly love this music video because realistically, MT has done more for actual Canadians than Drake has and this is a great example of it. Seeing all the Canadians in the comments who also love them makes me so happy.
Those vocals are mostly done by Josh the lead singer (blonde skinny dude) all there stuff is great but maybe listen to Only The Lonely Survive or Masterpiece Theater Part I

I will watch any MT content you make. Their music is amazing and I think you'd love their full albums as they are usually a continuous, full experience. They also often reference older songs and sounds in newer music so if you do listen through I'd start at the beginning, but you'll love them regardless I think.
