I know a lady who actively looked for an abuser in a spouse. She kept asking her boyfriends to beat her and being a horrible person just so they could lose it and beat her. When I questioned her, she opened up and said that’s all she knew, her dad beat her mom daily and her mom would tell her that it was because he loved her. Then they would have very noisy sex later. So she grew up believing that if she got a daily beating then it meant that she was loved.
But abeg, who go beat woman for U.K.? When no be say you wan enter gallow? Because even if the woman no report, na neighbour or colleague go report to police straight and the rules have changed now.
