9th house is about duty in life. Marriages in those days were so different. Girls were betrothed as young as 6 to their prospective husband who will be 12. They married within their family. The wife knows her role and does it well. The husband knows his role and does it well. Things like having common interest, romance, passion were the least of their concern. They had a role to play and a duty to fulfill within their community as a married couple.

Compatability, maturity spiritually, ability to make room for one another (that room includes many meanings). in my personal case, I've learned the compatability in marriage is super important. Thank you

Thank you for this insight. I was actually thinking of this recently, as I’ve started my meditative practice & this is not something my husband is familiar with. Having that mutual love & respect, & not having to be on the exact same path was an important reminder. I did tell him about how to do alternate nostril breathing yesterday, as he has a deviated septum & just told him to try it in his downtime. Thank you for your insights, great video 👍🏻

This is such a good video. Never saw such a video of Real Talk!!! You are amazing at talking about real things.
    Thanks Ryan❤
I am not in any relationship but i wonder how people have spiritual partnership? This video gave me insights :)
Its easier when both are already spiritual but so hard when one is and other is not.
I also wonder, if a spiritual person gets a partner (by destiny) who is not spiritual at all. That will be so hard!

the only thing I want is someone who is as fully present as I am when we are together, whatever that is happening around or between us and it doesn't matter if we spend 2 or 20 hours or 2 days together. if I am there, I am there fully. can't find him.

all that matters is that you be present. don't be distracted by what others can or can't do

@10:30 My wife told me many women have a fantasy that their man comes home, sweeps her off her feet, carries her up to the bed room, throws her down on the bed . . . and let’s her sleep while he cleans the whole house.

Thank you so much for sharing, I just started on this path and I truly see the changes in my attitude as well as my health. I am also more empowered then I have ever been. Ryan I would like to take part in your current sessions. Please, let me know when you are live. Thanks again.

Hi Ryan: First I want to thank you for the knowledge and advise you’ve been sharing online, specially in TH-cam. I've been following you for quite some time there. I’ve been trying to practice Kriya Yoga for some years now but, although I’ve had enough discipline in certain periods of time, there is still an “issue” in my life that I just can’t brush off so that it doesn’t interfere with my practices.
Secondly, I would love to hear your thoughts regarding the following: My life has drifted recently into a romantic relationship (seemingly without me seeking it) and I feel it has made my practices difficult since I don't seem to find enough time to do them. I’m entangled in a personal dilemma: on the one hand, I feel a romantic relationship demands too much attention and, on the other, if I’m alone, I yearn for a romantic partner. When I’m single, I feel content and focused on my path, I feel I can appropriately manage (almost) every aspect of my life (except for my sexual instincts), but I feel lonely sometimes and my family and friends are always selling me the idea of finding a significant other. And suddenly I’m in a relationship; I feel happy for a while in it but, sooner rather that later, I feel I cannot keep up with my normal routines because I’m focused on making her happy.
Is it true that being alone is better for spiritual growth? What is the right thing to do regarding sexuality if it seems I cannot live without it but, at the same time, I cannot focus on my spiritual practices if I need to care about someone else’s needs? I just don’t see myself in a purely sexual relationship to release my sexual yearnings from time to time, I won’t seek “a professional” to help me with that, since I don’t want her energy to mix with mine...
I hope this is not too much to ask.
    Thanks in advance.

Bottom line, if it gets in the way of your practice, you can live without it. If you can't, it's an obsession of some sort, and you need to find the support to help you get over it.

45 years married. Went into our sadinha together at 18 left at after 30 years. The kriya yoga doesn't make a marriage. Love. Understanding. Forgiveness. FYI we were both initiated by Daya Mata. We're still married but we gave it up. Story to long to share.

In this video (Romantic Spiritual Relationships) I noticed behind you some 'drawings' that appear to be mandalas or chakras...they are beautiful....what exactly are they ?

What is that music that plays at the beginning and end of your lectures?

It's either a banjo or an octave mandolin.
