One Starbucks employee has had enough of the company's new limited edition signature drink, the Unicorn Frappuccino. Braden Burson is not alone as Starbucks employees across the nation are done with the swirly pink and blue drink. Burson is a barista and had a rough first day with the new dreamy concoction that apparently is a nightmare to prepare. It's ice, milk, Frappuccino syrup, vanilla syrup, mango syrup, pink powder, sour blue powder and something called "blue drizzle," which are all blended together. #InsideEdition

As a former Starbucks barista, I can tell you the secret ingredient is unicorn blood. You get a truck from corporate every few days with one in a cage, and you have to shoot it yourself. The worst part is its screams. It’s a real pain in the ass.

I remember having the unicorn Frappuccino. It was not impressive. It actually tasted kinda gross. I didn’t even drink half of it. Whoever made that drink for me, I’m sorry I wasted your time.
It was gross. I’m sure they forgive you. People drink disgusting drinks because media and influencers tell them it’s cool. While we silently judge you for it(i used to when i worked there) we still forgive you when you realize who nasty half that atuff it. Tho…. The caramel crunch is super good so i don’t blame the hype on that one each year.

Like I only have one cup and not even every day I swear 😂 my mom was told as a kid that if you drink coffee before 18, the caffeine would stunt your growth. Been barista sucks at the restaurant I worked baristas were in charge of coffees and deserts. It is one of the most stressful positions you could be on I seen people quit in mid rush hour because it was just too much. I used to do it every weekend since sadly I was one of the fastest in the particular section and because everyone was afraid of doing it for the exception of maybe 4 out of 20 front of the house employee. I do understand where he comes from. Now I’m a waiter and it’s frustrating too but in my opinion barista is probably worst.

As a barista, I can understand the pain. Fast coffee places, especially Starbucks, put an insane amount of pressure on drink times, and then they come out with a drink that takes 1 minute 30 seconds minimum to make in ideal circumstances.

I worked at Starbucks in college when this came out. Our store had it for like 2 days and then it sold out forever. We were in a small city and corporate decided to ship the the next stock of ingredients to the more busy stores instead of ours. Customers were angry. Very angry. Belligerent and almost violent. They see this thing on tv or the internet and they have to have it. When they couldn’t have it they took it out on us the baristas even though we had no power over if we get shipments or not. Starbucks was truly the worst job I’ve ever had.

MinerMaster **angry barista.exe has stopped working**
I remember I made my mom drive around our whole town just to get this Frappuccino since I was in middle school and everyone was posting about not being able to get or being sold out in all of our Starbucks, it wasn’t until we went inside an Albertsons that had a mini Starbucks where an only lady worked, it was empty so I figured it was still available and it was! I remember posting it on my Snapchat story, and telling my entire school that I got it from the Albertsons Starbucks, oh that poor lady 😭. And the worst part is that it tasted so gross that I drank half of it out of spite and then left it inside the fridge until my mom threw it away.

he didn't say it was hard, just because you have easy job doesn't mean you can't get stressed from it. Making peanut butter and jelly sandwiches is an easy job but if you had to make the exact same sandwich the exact same way 100s of times over a day at a quick pace is a lot to handle. Especially when you aren't use to business being so busy for so long.

Getting a job in fast food has definitely humbled me though. Getting orders for complicated drinks/ice creams is absolutely one of the most heartbreaking things that can happen during the lunch rush. You’re on a timer, one of the products you need has surely run out and you need to refill it, but your screen is filling up with orders upon orders of these disgusting drinks/ice creams and you’re getting yelled at by everyone to hurry up and that you’re incompetent.
Yeah, the video may seem whiny and filled with entitlement, but I understand the stress after going through a hard day of work and feeling the sudden dread of having to go back to it tomorrow. Entitlement would mean that this guy is angry about having to do his job, but that isn’t what he’s complaining about. He’s complaining about getting flooded with orders of an extremely complicated drink from everyone and how stressful it is to make it when he’s on a timer. Working in hospitality definitely gives you the empathy you need for others who will be in your position when you leave.

People often look down on fast food/service industry workers because they think it’s an “easy” job. When in reality it’s a very stressful job, both physically and mentally :(

Really depends on you (the worker) I don't find working at fast foods stressful especially during prime hours. It's willing to do it regardless of what may come. I'm there for my paycheck and my paycheck only. If that means I have to serve the same garbage the whole day, I don't mind besides it's not 24/7. I get to go home and rest and do it again tomorrow. Pretty much life my guy, suck it up if you choose this type of job
