- Within the past couple of months, several new plastic types for the Axiom Hex have been released. So Chris goes out to a few holes at Chattahoochee Pointe Park to try out all of the available varities of Hexes to see how the different plastics compare to each other, and also throws in the MVP Matrix and new Streamline Echo.

Fantastic video. Consistency between throws is tough to accomplish, and I think you did a great job. Most differences were really mild, with the exception of a couple; (but who doesnt shank one occasionally) Been seeing a lot of bad videos on the tube lately and this one was refreshing!
Really like what you are doing here and appreciate the puns. Hope you keep putting out content.
Heard the fissions are least stable(after some beat in) and soft neutrons the most stable, this vid seems to confirm that.
I personally bag a heavy proton with soft proton Echo as a less stable counterpart.
Thanks for the review.
this video was hex-actly what I was looking for. thank you!
I am really interested in the Echo after this video.
I had no idea there were so many versions of Hex. Hexellent! 😂
It's crazy! I wonder what mix they'll do next.
I'm still testing mine out but from my still limited tests with them I don't really rank them against each other but more for different shots.
Fission: Sexy glidy yummyness when there's little wind.
Proton and Plasma: Dependable straight shot in the wind.
Lizottl': When I want magic to happen.
I don't have a neutron.
Thanks for the video I didn’t know I needed
enjoy your videos, keep it up!
Great video! Subscribed!
nice job ... thanks
Great video… I found a beat in MVP Open Fission Hex in the used disc bin and it’s money… sooo straight…
I was hoping to see more Hex comparison videos. I have four of the six you've got, and have to say the Fission is my favorite with Eclipse coming in second.
ive noticed more from the weight of the hex. my 2x175 neutron and 2x168 neutron def no not fly the same. the 168 gets way more fade mid flight
Man we should have a little round at hobbs. I went there for the 1st time last week and fell in love lol.
The glow seemed a little less stable than some of the other hex’s
I didn't get that at all, the first throw had more stank and angle and it still fought out
I personally bag the matrix I think it’s great it always holds your line it’s stable with a late fade unless you throw nose down however if you’re more of a forehand Kind of guy the neutron hex is the better
I just put the Matrix back in the bag as an overstable complement to the Hex. I love both of them.
Have you ever used a deflector before I’m thinking of getting one but I’ve never used a mid that over stable before
I haven't used the Deflector yet. For my arm speed, the Axiom Pyro was overstable enough, and for a while was the most overstable midrange I bagged. I switched it out for a Prodigy MX-1 a little while ago, but the Pyro is a great disc.
Thnx I’ll try it
Nice to see reviews also in more normal disk speeds. The concistance requires some more practise, there is quite big variance in angles :) But otherwise your form is really good.
Most revievers just throw with so much power that most people chose too stable disk that they can not throw similarly.
I think my Hex is broken It's more stable than my fairly fresh Roc3 its honestly was flying like a 5/5/0/2 I thought about getting a reactor to complement this disc but it's so stable that now don't see a point. I was almost getting the hex 370 feet with a little anhyzer like it was pretty damn beefy.
I would agree with you. I would still classify it as straight, but it is reliable. Foy arm speed I don't get much turn, if any, and it always fades left at the end of the flight. I was bagging an Archive for a while and decided I didn't need it since the Hex would fly very similarly.
My Lizottl started out like this. After several months it is finally what I consider a straight disc. But, I missed that slight overstable flight it had so I got a Neutron Reactor and it is just a tick more overstable than the Lizotle Hex was fresh. Perfect. I bag both
damn just the video i needed until i started watching .. you can’t really review disc if your not a consistent thrower .. i gained nothing because they all were different angles
I know where youre coming from and i agree your comment has a place on TH-cam but I disagree that it belongs on this video. There's so much content on TH-cam with amateurs throwing wildly inconsistent throws and giving "advice". Pros don't put out videos like this and 90% of AM people cant throw the exact same throw twice. IMO, OP did a great job with this video. He performed so many very similar throws. Best consistency ive seen on youtube lately. If you have a basic understanding of the flight path to disc stability ratio, you should be able to tell the difference between discs based on what you see here. Just my $.02.
